These hooks that come in this kit will not be able to stand up against large Carp. This is the second hook bent and second fish lost, disappointing considering everything else in the kit works fine.

Good buy if your just getting into carp fishing like me and figuring out all the different types of rigs and methods. I’d buy again from these guys when I need more gear.

Great equipment for any carp angler. I've been catching plenty of common carp and smallmouth buffalo here in the midwest with this gear. I pair it with a hair rig and 3 oz weight on the bolt rig. The line tubing in the kit definitely helps to not tangle the line when casting far, and bolt rig works like a charm. Only complaint is I wish there was more hooks.
