I've been using Kregg screws for my pocket joinery for years. Coarse thread for plywoods, fine thread for hardwoods. Very satisfied.

size is just right for pocket holes, love the square head driver
Excellent hold, high quality, a little pricey but not bad for holding tight.Making my first woodworking thing,A table, simple and right,These screws ran cleanly through the wood,And held the joinder tight!Will definitely buy again

OK....but not quite as easy to use as uncoated screws from Kreg.
In building my wife's new kitchen, I bought these in addition to a box of 500 Kreg screws that were not "blue coated". I don't think these work quite as well as the non-blue coated screws and perhaps it is the blue coating that makes them not respond to the drivers as well. They are OK, but I found the non-blue coated screws seemed to drive more easily. Unless you really need the blue coating for wet, or moisture prone areas these might not be your best choice. I have bought more uncoated screws to complete this project.

Great pocket hole screws!
I like the square hole for driving the screw. It doesn’t allow it to slip while driving it. They are nice sturdy screws.
