Didn't work well for me
It's exactly as advertised, but it just didn't work in my application. I printed a design I wanted to carve onto wood. The adhesive is a bit too weak and the film lifted off the wood as I carved.I guess I'll go back to using spray adhesive on regular paper. It's a little messy but it works and is a lot less expensive.

Stencil film
This item probably only works best with flat surfaces (not my wall) and only surfaces that do not peel off. You see, I tried to create stencils on a poster board but this material peels the top layer of the board. This product also did not come with instructions or DOs and DON'Ts or where you can use it. I had to look for a specific type of paint for it to work.However, I'll recommend this as a cheaper alternative to the Cricut's vinyl paper.

Why the heck would the adhesive be on the wax ...
Why the heck would the adhesive be on the wax paper/plastic side?! I spent HOURS on a stencil just to find out when I finished, that it only stuck to the surface I'm trying to paint backwards! Now I have to invert the image, reprint it on what remains of the paper, and start from scratch... thanks for not including any instructions or anything.But I'll give you 2 stars. Only because the image printed on the paper side well enough and cutting it was a lot easier than the poster board I tried before ordering this product.

GREAT FOR CRAFTS!
These are great for my purpose which is transferring patterns to my gourds. Make copies from the computer and then copy on printer. These are very hard to find, in fact this is the only place I find them available. There are none others in different brands. So, I am very careful as they are around $1 each but well worth it for the ease of use compared to hand tracing with graphite paper.

This self -adhesive stencil film is amazing. It did the job that I wanted to get done. my project was done before I knew it. Love it.

Self Adhesive stencil flim
I am so happy to have found this product. Being able to print out my drawings or just using the small pieces that are left over has really made it easy to use. This is a great product. I do recommend it.
