Poor pack and ship
This is a thick, heavy book with a paper cover/sleeve and it was shipped loose in a box where it was able to bang around and damage the sleeve. Any kind of padding would have saved it.

E.E.Cummings - Complete Poems (Great choice)
I purchased it as present to beloved man due to one of the most beautiful romantic poem. I really recommend the book.

The book quality is good. The poems, well...
Listen. Maybe I'm a fool for not researching a white writer from the early 1900s to see if he had some troubled notions before purchasing his complete works. I was enamored with "somewhere I have never traveled..." And "I carry your heart with me..." And thought I'd find more of the same. And there are.But there's also poems about having sex with child prostitutes, racial and antisemitic slurs, and other yucky stuff. I know, I know, don't judge the past by today's lense of morals and all that but phewww. It makes me feel not great about owning his works, you know? I've read that people said he was writing like that in a tongue-in-cheek satirical way to draw attention to things but it doesn't really feel that way. I guess take the good and leave the rest and you'll like it? It certainly is a comprehensive tome.

Something about his poetry draws me in and captivates me
My Thoughts:This is kind of a book review, but not completely a book review. This is more along the lines of a couple paragraphs of me going off on the experience of reading every poem by the wonderful E.E. Cummings over all of 2012. That’s right. I read every E.E. Cummings poem in a year. I am quite proud of this.I had read a few handfuls of E.E. Cummings poems before buying this book but I knew I was going to love it. And I wasn’t wrong. I was completely right. I LOVED THESE POEMS. I started marking the page every time I found a poem I wanted to reread again and again. I ended up marking 52 altogether. There’s just something about his poetry that draws me in and captivates me.It’s hard to explain completely how much you can take away from poetry when you read it. I can see how certain poems or poets can be hard to read, but when you find one that is enjoyable it is truly a great experience. E.E. Cummings is that poet to me.My Rating: Exceptional

Great Collection!
I purchased this rather hefty and thick book of E.E. Cummings' work for a friend who is a devoted fan as a gift. Her old copy from decades ago was literally falling apart with yellowed, brittle pages. She was delighted upon receiving it and marveled at the great condition the book was in. There was as silky smoothness to the pages that either one of us couldn't' quite place. In all, it was a solid purchase and I'm glad my friend enjoyed the gift.

EE Cummings Liveright Publishing Hardcover
I’ve always been a fan of E E Cummings and fortunately this copy was on a good bargain. The original price is 50$ so you could compare the prices in the future according to the sellers. I bought it from the seller - Cloudtail. As mentioned, it was on sale for which I received a stained and tattered copy. Nonetheless being that this is my first copy of Cummings’s complete works, I have decided not to part with it. Purely for sentimental reasons, that is. As for the Liveright Publishers, they have done an amazing work. The sewn bindings are perfect and the paper quality is among the best. I loved the fonts as well. This is how a book of poetry must be published. Spacious and pleasing to the eyes.

Excellent edition
This is a very fine edition of cummings' work: I bought this to replace my paperback edition of cummings collected poems which was falling apart. Stephen Dunn's brief introduction is a bonus.
