This book by Nick Jones in the Shire Library series is really well put together and will bring many memories flooding back. The text is informative and there are lots of both black and white/colour pictures. It is inevitable with a book that is so short that there will be models that perhaps ought to have been included but given the size constraints of the Shire Library series this is a really good book for anyone interested in diecast models.

I am happy to have found this book about Dinky Toys, it gave an insight on the story of the products I remember from my childhood. Great read.

Was expecting a good read with pictures in large format . This is tiny and took about 20 minutes to read , yes it does cover the subject Matchbox Toys but its very brief and given the chance i would not buy this again .

Enjoyable reference.
