Probably would not try this with a condenser mic. No way it supplies enough voltage.

Q: When connected to a MacBook Pro, will this unit provide plug-in power to a VideoMic NTG or other similar microphones?

As far as I know it is only compatible with Rode microphones.

Q: can i use this to use my rode mic pro on zoom calls?

Great device. Works with any microphone and any application on an iPad so far in my experience, although I have not tried it for zoom calls, per se.
