My 11 year old is 5 feet tall, 75 lbs and the XXS (aka Youth Large) fits him with some room to grow. The kid sizes (XS, XXS, etc) are very true to size.The padding in the elbows and chest is enough to prevent scrapes but not so much that ut restricts motion. I feel like the "protection" it offers is more psychological than physical, but whatever it takes to make him fearless in the box!The red color is true red. I was worried it would be a little pink, but it is a fairly dark red.

I bought a 3xs for my 9 year old girl. It fits perfectly for when she plays goalie. I appreciate the padded chest area and the color is vibrant and fun. She says it is not too hot even playing in this Florida heat.

This Kalci goalkeeper jersey is not bad, despite the fact that I was sent the wrong size, the actual product is good. Kalci are selling several different colors and color combinations of this model and all of them are with some attractive and highly visible patterns. The Kalci brand was not something that I was familiar with prior to getting this keeper jersey, but so far I am impressed, the jersey comes in a plastic bag with some paper insulation, but there are a few key positives about it too.Positives:- Good quality polyester material with correct stitching and breath-ability.- Padding on the elbows and chest - the padding is pretty good for the elbows, I just wish that was a tag bigger area, I am still not sure about the chest padding, if it is a positive or a negative, maybe both. Positive as it is providing extra protection and negative as during the hot seasons will keep you too hot.- The fit and finish is good too - I ordered a smaller size for my daughters team keeper, but I received a much larger XL size, which I can use for my U16 boys team keeper, so it is not a problem, and as far as I can see, adult XL fits just like any other XL.- Inexpensive - for under $30, this keeper jersey is priced pretty competitively.Negatives:- The padding - as mentioned above, the one on the chest I am still conflicted about and the one on the elbows, needs to be a bit bigger to cover a larger area.- Nothing else really.Overall, I really like this Kalci goalkeeper jersey, it is good quality and is not expensive.
