Working with Words: A Handbook for Media Writers and Editors Eighth Edition

It’s a good grammar book. I prefer a grammar book with more examples, but it served its purpose for me.

This was a required book (the textbook along with the exercise book) for a college class. I'm an English major and I have a lot of grammar books, so from my perspective these two Working with Words books are some of the best I've seen. Very user friendly, good examples, easy to comprehend; I'd definitely recommend for someone that would like to work on their grammar skills.

Even though this book was required for one of my classes, it was such an interesting book. It was enjoyable and informative.

This book has helped me with my grammar. I'm a terrible writer, and I'm not very good at grammar. I'm taking a required pre-masters degree English course, and this is one of the textbooks that is required.

this isn't what I had hoped, it's too simplistic almost written as English for a 2nd language person.

Good for journalism students. I think its a little sporadic but at least its all thereAll journalism students should have it

Great handbook, easy reading, and wonderful for journalists!

I am still reading this book but so far so good.
