This is an overall very good set for beginners. Comes as a set of multiple items and is very well packed with all accessories needed. I would recommend these to anyone.My 2 cents below:Pros:- Functional product and henna colors look nice overall. My wife tried it and her response was all positive- It is dye-based and hence works faster than normal henna powders- Dye is plant-based and hence natural & free of chemicals- Addition of 2 stencils is nice to make the application easy- They included all accessories (Applicator bottle with fine line tip, Straight pin, Wooden mixing stick, etc) that you would need for application- Reasonably priced for the setCons:- It is not supposed to be used by under 12 years old. This should be mentioned in the amazon listing

The Jacquard Mehndi Henna Tattoo Kit is a comprehensive set containing everything you need to create magical henna designs. I got it for my teenage daughter and she's very happy with it. However, it is a commitment. The henna stains the skin for 7-12 days. It also takes a while to set, so it takes some planning to go through the process. My daughter is an artist, so she is adept at creating her own designs, however the kit includes lovely stencils in a variety of shapes and sizes. I think this would make a fun gift for anyone who is interested in temporary tattoos. Avoid inhalation and eye contact.Made in the USA~ Kort

This henna set is made in the United States. It also says that it’s not for children under the ages of 12 so just a sidenote on that.The set comes with multiple pieces. It’s a complete set for a beginner or someone who likes to dabble in art. They also included stencils. Of course someone who would like to use their own design ideas certainly can. For us, we did use the stencils just because they were so pretty. It’s taken some practice. I feel like a steady hand is important. Alternatively, designs that don’t have to be straight or perfect can hide a less steady hand. But the stencils helpwith that too. As long as you ‘hug’ the stencil closely and carefully, the design is pretty spot on. I think instead of using a stencil one could use a pen or marker and make their sketch first. Then they can apply it over that.It’s a fun kit and such an interesting concept. This would make a fun, crafty gift for a pre-teen I think.
