Do you really need a better DAC???
Clearly there is the law of diminishing returns when it comes to HiFi, or for that matter most consumer goods!!How good is your hearing for example? Good enough to justify spending $30,000 on hifi equipment? Probably not, but if you have the money why not.I don't fall in to this category. In my opinion DAC's are all very similar, I can't hear any real difference between my old Fiio K5 Pro, this DX3 Pro+ and the more expensive DX7 Pro I just sold.Having said this, there are many other reasons why this gets 5 stars. Amplification. Even if I can't tell the difference between the actually quality of the DAC, I can certainly tell you if the headphone amp if powerful enough to run high impedance headphones without distortion and with the ability to let you hear vocals, instruments and soundstage. This DAC/AMP is powerful enough to give me a really great experience with my high impedance planar headphones. And at a great price. My cheaper Fiio K5 pro sounded just as good, but could not push my current headphones to the level I wanted and as for the DX7 Pro's, I could hear no difference at all between these and the much cheaper DX3 pro +. Obviously hearing is subjective. I love this DAC/AMP. I have it connected to my PC via USB and play lossless FLAC's via Music Bee (WASAPI Shared) and use Equalizer APO and Peace to add a little Parametric EQ to my HiFiMan 400SE headphones. I also added a set of Edifier M4 speakers and the DAC/AMP works flawlessly with both headphones as a DAC/AMP and Edifier speakers as a DAC only (the speakers are active). If you want to spend more on a dac/amp, you can. I just really can't see the value in it as human hearing probably can't discern the differences quite like a $20,000 analyzer/oscilloscope...This is a great DAC, has enough power for all headphones and plenty of connections including BT for a complete HiFi system.Don't hate me. Just my opinion. I think that this dac/amp is truly the sweet spot for money to sound ratio.

Incredible value. I feel no need to get anything more expensive. 100% Satisfied.
Using this to drive DCA Aeon-RT, Hifiman Sundara, Hifiman HE-R9, and 64audio A4s IEMs. All are driven perfectly. The biggest test are the Aeon RT which are a hard to drive headphone that are thirsty for power. I can turn it up to levels that would be ear damaging for a long period and there is no distortion to be heard anywhere. The sound is completely transparent. Exactly what you want out of a dac/amp. EQ to taste after the fact if that's your thing.I love that I can also hook up my Kanto and Audio Engine 8 sub setup into this via the RCA inputs and source switch. This is really helpful as the Peace EQ for PC tends to stop working when you switch sound sources. Since my only sound source is the DX3pro+, no more issues. Plus you get all that clean sound going to your desktop speakers. No balanced output option, but with this much power, who cares? You don't need it. No MQA, but MQA is overrated and would just make it cost $50 more. It's better for the omission.Remote is awesome. LDAC sounds great. All this for $200? Absurd. Just buy it already.

Need an entry-level DAC and Amp Combo? Buy this.
If you're an entry level audiophile, just get this and be done. I did a ton of research for a week and finally came across this newer product from Topping. Paired with my new Sennheiser HD600s I got for Christmas, it's a pleasure to listen and hear every detail in your music. These are 300ohm impedance headphones and this amp drives them well in low gain...wanted a bit more, so switched to high gain and it has PLENTY of power...I'm sitting at -20 to -15db most of the time with my PC and Tidal at 50%. (Idk, my preference...figure let the amp do most of the work).I was debating Schiit and other products that were just standalone amps for the same price or more...I'd be hard-pressed to recommend them when this exists. Peace of mind with the external DAC taking care of the processing and the amp has plenty of power with no perceivable distortion to my ear. The sound is clear and punchy, there is no noise, I haven't experienced any harshness to the sound. It made my HD600 come alive compared to straight from my PC.The screen is a nice addition. The knob is really tactile with a loud click. It can get a little warm during operation, but it's not concerning. I haven't tried Bluetooth, but I don't really see why I'd want to risk wireless interference/noise being introduced to my signal. We'll see about longevity, but I expect this will be my workhorse for a long time.

Great product but watch out for Aoshida
I bought the product few months ago and it works great, Bluetooth connection it's smooth and audio quality it's excellent. Unluckily couple of weeks ago it died and it doesn't power on anymore. I contacted the vendor, Aoshida, cause it's still under warranty and to get it repaired I should send it to China. That would cost me more than 80 dollars, almost half of the value of the product. Amazon customer service won't help me with the issue as well, so watch out when buying from this vendors
