Worked Great
Used it to deal the cracks in my driveway. Nice thickness for melting over my patches to keep the patches water tight.

Working well so far
I've previously reviewed the 1" tape. This tape is easy to install. Now that I've used both sizes, I prefer the 2". I find that most of the time 1" is wide enough to cover the small cracks that this is indicated for. As such, I take scissors and cut this along its length to make custom sized tape to cover cracks. Effectively, this gives me double the length of tape compared to a roll of the 1". I find the tape somewhat expensive, but I think it will work better than other products on the market for home use. As such, but cutting this tape into 1" strips, it effectively lowers the price per foot. My big question won't be answered until winter. The tape stands a bit high to the rest of the asphalt after installation. I think it will be fine with a snowblower, and the material seems pretty hard when the temperatures drop into the 40s. However, I won't know whether the blade of the snowblower will wreck these strips until this winter.

The Real Deal
Folks, this stuff has proven to be infinitely superior to supposed crack fillers that are available at big box stores. I try to maintain the driveway and was using that trowel-on stuff for years. It never lasted more than a few months before disappearing. A pacing company quoted $5.00 per foot for crack repair which wouild have been prohibitively expensive. The EWT Asphalt tape has proven to be a viable alternative to professional crack repair at a fraction of the price. A few tips/observations:-I used a pressure washer to clean out the cracks and then filled them with fine sand. This tape is not structural and needs a solid base to sit over-It's not fun, however, it's easier to apply the tape when the driveway is hot during the middle of the day. The tape sticks right away.-The 2" tape is far easier to work with than 4". If you need to fill a wider crack with 2" tape, simply overlap the pieces to bridge the gap. The two pieces will weld into one under intense heat.-As for heat, I purchased this propane torch from Amazon and it has performed exceedingly well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFDNPXGC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1-Safety Advisory: This torch is no joke and is dang close to a flamethrower. Wear protective gear such as heavy work boots, gloves, eye glasses etc. Have a hose or bucket of water ready. Make sure that the torch head is kept away from the propane tank and the torch hose. I got too close to the hose at one point and nearly soiled myself.-Driveway cracks are rarely perfectly straight. Don't worry about cutting the tape to perfectly match the curves in a crack line, just get the tape over the crack itself, push down and it will melt down when heated-The tape can be heated to keep a raised profile over cracks or you can heat it until it flows down into a crack.I will never, ever again waste time or money on "crack filler" that they sell at big box stores. The EWT tape costs more but there is no doubt that it will last. You get what you pay for.

Seals the cracks
This tape worked great on some seams that are in my driveway because of installation error. I patched them every year but the kept seams coming back. This was wide enough to feather the patch and at this point the seams are gone. The tape has worn to the point that it matches the asphalt well

Don't know yet.
Followed instructions. Propane torched the stuff down but it still looks like it will just peel off. It's puffy and after several weeks all tacky to touch. Granted it's been brutally hot here but this just doesn't look quite right.Side note, get the wider size. Making zigzag patterns is not fun to cover cracks and aren't in a straight line.

Great for now
I ended up buying the 2" roll. I cut this into very thin strips and heated with a torch. At first I just heated until melted. Then I started using a small putty knives to flatten out. I like the putty knife method. I cannot imagine that this stuff isn't pretty much a permanent solution. I was tired of using filler every 6 months. I might follow up later on how it is holding up.

Overpriced and doesn't work.
I am no asphalt pro; however, I have been patching asphalt in several locations for 13 years and this stuff lasted one year and cracked. My best results have always come from the gallon jug from lowes or home depot for $10.00 and you are not inhaling as many toxic fumes. Nothing lasts on asphalt a it's just gravel with oil.

Works great
Works great to seal smaller cracks in black top driveway. Easy install. Be sure to heat the product well to ensure it flows and does not stand high, first try did not heat enough to flow and leave a nice transition, heated the second try more and flowed nicely with little transition
