The best there is
This is the best product for removing asphalt/tar I have ever used. There is one other product that works well but this stuff holds on the paint a little better and seems to work a little better. Tried other products and the whole bottle did not touch what this liquified in the first squirt. Has a great orange smell to it as well. If you want to remove tar buy this stuff and a microfiber towel and you are good to go. Amazing product.

Works very well but patience is needed.
This product worked very well. The key is patience - I tried to spray and get immediate results and did not see any change. But, when I followed instructions, I got very good results: clean the surface first, spray and let sit a few minutes after rubbing in, wipe with soft cloth, repeat several times. At first, the spray will not seem to work but it begins to dissolve tree sap after a few gentle applications.

Trying to remove clear bra adhesive? GET THIS NOW.
I'm guessing I may not be the only one who has come to the point of needing to remove an old clear bra from a car hood, only to find a super sticky adhesive left behind. And perhaps I'm not the only one who has tried all the tricks in the book to remove the sticky residue with all the tricks in the book. You know: WD-40, various "tar" removal products at the automotive store, heat guns and plastic scrapers...And none of that stuff really worked "effectively". Sure, they helped. But they just didn't do the job easily and quickly.Well, somehow I stumbled upon this and saw a previous review saying this stuff works wonders for clear bra adhesive removal. So I took a shot and bought it.Let me just say....this stuff is AMAZING. I just sprayed one application over a test area on my hood and before I could blink that area was shiny and clear instead of hazy. I thought it was because the area was simply wet, but one pass over with a paper towel revealed the adhesive that was once bonded to my paint was simply dripping off the hood! What was left behind was the shine of my paint!I quickly tried a few more sprays for a larger area and sure enough, this product was literally releasing the adhesive just as quickly as it was dripping off my hood.A small area that would take me 10-15 minutes of spraying various other tar removers along with careful scraping using a plastic blade literally took only one squirt and a few seconds when using this...and no scraping! Just a wipe of a paper towel. Only minor scraping of a plastic blade was needed to simply push off the adhesive from the hood.I then used it for the clear protection over my headlights. I documented that in photos attached. Worked brilliantly as well! Now the instructions state this is made from organic materials. That's pretty cool if true. And it also says NOT to let it dry on plastic or paint. So a quick follow-up of sprayed water is best. But I kid you not. This is simply amazing for removing the this gooey adhesive that is left from peeling a Lear bra off. Do yourself a favor and get this. Now.

Solid choice for detailing cars
I bought this for my detailing business and so far, I can tell it works well. I can visibly see that it dissolves the tar, which is what it’s supposed to do. Only problem I see with it is if there is a lot of tar then you might have to still let it sit or use more of it and maybe even scrub. Other than that, it’s pretty good value for the money and makes cleaning off of cars way easier. The smell is pretty strong though it smells like rotten eggs. One thing I will note is Carpro spray bottle nozzles suck all of mine broke really fast so maybe buy some extras that are actually good quality, but the chemical itself is awesome!

(Do not get this on paint protection film!) Night and day difference from big box store brands
I wish I had bought this sooner/the first time. I tried to save money by getting a Turtle Wax branded tar remover at a home improvement store. It never really softened up tar or made it easier to remove. A few sprays of this, and tar spots came off with minimal effort a minute or two after application. Worth every penny!Edit: A note that if your vehicle has paint protection film (PPF) on any part of it, be sure to not spray this on it or get overspray on it. If you do, be sure to rinse it ASAP and hope for the best. I wasn't careful enough when detailing a vehicle using this product, and got some on the PPF on the front of the vehicle without noticing it. Within 90sec I had started to rinse it off, but it was apparent right away that there were some strange marks on the PPF where it made contact. Those areas (where Tar X did not dry to the best of my knowledge) required an aggressive hand wash with CarPro Reset and then aggressive buffing with a microfiber and CarPro Eraser to get only ~80% of the marks off the PPF. Beware!

It works well for tree sap!
I parked my car under a black walnut tree. It was covered with black sap! Car wash wouldn't touch it. I sprayed it with this stuff just pryer to running through car wash again, let it set a few minutes. Worked great except for a few small black spots. Would definitely buy again! No scrubbing necessary! Worked fast... No residual smell

Car dirt removal
Used this to remove tar from my Lexus and when I de-badged the trunk this easily removed the adhesive. I highly recommend this. It left no residue and only needed a few swipes. Best remover for the money and easy to use.

Needs improvement
By far the best tar remover I have used yet. My only problem is that it is such a small amount for the price, also the sprayer mine cam with did not go on more than two threads causing it to come undone while use and I spilled half of it. The other problem with the sprayer is the feeding tube for the product was too long.
