This candle is one of the best smelling candle's I have smelt in a very very long time. The best way to figure out if a candle will smell great when you burn it( if your on a store), open the candle and smell the bottom of the lid. If the lid has a strong scent it's a great smelling candle when being burnt. Of you don't smell anything or if it's a weak smell don't buy it. It will not smell when you burn it. It might smell right when you stick your nose into the flame, but you might not have any nose hairs to talk about. So I wouldn't recommend a 🕯️ lid that doesn't have a strong scent . Back to this candle. If you seriously love and I mean love the smell of a campfire then buy this. It's strong as hell, but hell that's what you/I want in a candle. I want to be able to smell the damn thing. The best way to explain and describe this 🕯️ is; you know when your out back of your house by a nice little fire in your back yard or out camping and when your done or walk away from the fire and you smell your clothes and it smells like fire. Well that's what your house will smell like if you buy this candle. And I so much love that smell. The smell wont stick around in your house like it does on your clothes. If you really love the smell like I said you will love this candle. And the wick is amazing and sounds like a crackling fire as well. This is my 2nd one. And it won't be the last I buy.

Punchy little candle. I bought it to compare with Yankee's Campfire Treat candle. I haven't lit this one yet but sometimes smelling Yankee candles gives me a headache, but this new one doesn't. I like that it's homemade and natural. I should've read the description for sizing because I wanted a bigger candle. My fault. The pic is in comparison with the 20oz Yankee candle. Overall the smell of this candle (not lit) is a sugary sweet vanilla smell but I'm sure more of the campfire aroma will come through when lit. I'm a sucker for candles so I'll be testing out the others from this seller this fall. So far 4 stars for total buying experience and first impressions. ((I'll update after I have time to burn it. It's currently way too hot up north to light candles.)) Shipping was quick once the order was in the USPS system. Packaging was great as well. It will be sent in a bubble mailer and wrapped in more paper inside the envelope for safety.---------------------UPDATE 8/28/15I have had a chance now to light this candle for the past several evenings on and off. It's great. The smell is more marshmallow than campfire/fire but it smells so damn good and one major thing: no headaches!! Unbelievable. Even my husband doesn't get irritated from this candle which is a huge plus. I want to buy more from this brand. As I said above the candle is small; however, the burn time is long. It does burn seemingly fast the first tiny bit, but it stops and slows after the initial period. Overall good candle, now 5 stars. =]

I wanted to love this candle so much to burn while enjoying our electric fire place. The smell is good, really do not smell it much when burning but that is ok with me sometimes. My complaint is the wick is short so there is very little flame in turn makes the candle not burn fully to the glass as you see in the picture. I have burned it twice now and no matter how long I burned it for (the first time was over 3-4 hours at least) it would not melt the sides. Now the only thing it will do is continue to get deeper in the middle. For $20.00 I would hope for it to burn evenly to the edges. I am very disappointed I wasted the money.

Smells like a campfire, but very strong. I would recommend outside use only

A little pricey, but it's a good product

It DOES smell like a wood fire... but only for a little while.When I first got it and lit the wood wick up, my whole apartment smelled like a campsite. It was awesome. I even played looping campfire sounds on Youtube to get the full immersive effect of warmth. I could even smell the thing in the next room. I went out for a while and came back and could still smell it lingering, even after I blew the flame out before leaving.One it burned about halfway down, however, that was it. You can of course smell the flame itself, but it doesn't smell like smoke anymore. The wick still crackles (though it's very quiet and soft. Don't imagine it's going to pop and hiss like burning great big logs would). I keep bringing the candle back to my nose in hopes the smell will come back, because I loved it so much. It never did.The funny thing is though, it'll smell more like smoke when it isn't burning rather than when it is. With the candle blown out, I can smell the smoke scent just fine when I hold it up to my nose. I keep the candle on my desk with me, so when I want to smell smoke, I just take the lid off and don't burn it until I want a nice cozy feel around my computer. Of course, keeping the lid off gets pet hair and dust in it, so I have to put the lid on until I want to smell it. And then I just start to forget to even care about it.This candle was close to being perfect. I'm not sure if it was due to the chemical design of the aromas, or if it was layered incorrectly or what, but I think if I want another scented candle that smell like wood fire burning, I'll get another brand-- possibly one more expensive. If I'm desperate enough. Which I'm not.

Love the smell of this Frasier Fir candle. Didn’t realize it had a wood wick. Bonus! It burns very low, but scents my home and fake Christmas tree perfectly. I don’t know about the other scents, but this one is amazing.

This candles scent was spot on i just love the scent of a campfire this did its job I'd give two thumbs up. 👍

Smelling this candle brought back so many happy memories of when my parents and I used to go camping and of wonderful days spent camping with my own children.

Definitely smells great but I wouldn’t say it smells anything like campfire smells more sweet with a hint of cedar or pine so if that’s what you are into amazing but if you are looking for campfire this isn’t the oneOverall tho quality is great well made

I do like it but the aroma isn't very strong especially for the price, other than that it's ok
