UPDATED REVIEW: I apologize for jumping the gun on my original review and rating. My Blu-Ray disc was delayed a day and I should have waited before writing my review. But in my own defense, the disc is (as of this writing) listed as "Region B/2 - Will not play in the United States" so....what was I supposed to think? I'm sorry about my low rating, I have since changed it to 5 stars after watching the whole video, and yes it obviously plays on my Blu-Ray player, as well as my Blu-ray drive on my computer. AMAZON needs to FIX the description so more people like me won't freak out about it, or even worse, not buy it at all.Now, about the content itself. I read several reviews (giving 2 stars or lower) saying that there was too many interviews with fans and not enough of the band. I would say that the balance was close to being right. MAYBE just a bit too much time spent on fan interviews, but not enough to take away from the rest of the documentary. After all, as the members of Rush repeatedly say throughout the documentary, the synergy between band and fans is very important. Rush fans were even compared to Grateful Dead fans for their intense loyalty and love for the band. That's something that is pretty rare these days.I first saw Rush in 1979 at the Capital Theatre in Passaic NJ. Cheap Trick warmed up for them, back when no one ever heard of Cheap Trick. I think it was part of their Farewell To Kings tour. The thing I remember most about that first concert was the primitive (by today's standards) lighting show the band hand. During 2112, when the "priest" sang his part, these green lights on the floor shone up on the faces of Geddy and Alex, giving them that eerie "flashlight under the face" look. Compared to the stage show in later years, it was pretty cheesy, but took nothing away from the band's performance. I think that first show was one of my favorites because of it's primitive, raw energy.I highly recommend this documentary, it does include some songs in the Extras section, but listening to the boys talk about their career, expressing their emotions about their last tour, and seeing them get ready for their last show were the real highlights of the movie. It makes a perfect companion piece with the R40 Concert Video.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------My original post:A question and warning about this blu-ray disc. I ordered it two days ago and am due to receive it today. But I noticed that the blu-ray disc is for Region B/2, which will not play on most blu-ray players in the United States. It was a small warning near the bottom of the description, easily missed. I think they should have put that warning in big bold letters at the top of the description. Why is the English speaking website version of Amazon selling this blu-ray disc that won't play in the United States?

I normally don't give reviews, but being a RUSH fan, I felt compelled too !! I pre orderd this on Amazon and got on Friday night and got to watch the whole thing this morning (11/19/2016). It really is a bittersweet documentary !! As with anything RUSH dose, it's heart felt and honest !! The documentary is fantastic in its own right, Geddy,Alex,Neil are very forthcoming about the trails they had as a touring band and the respect that they have for each other and for their fans !! Most RUSH fans pretty much know the story of them and they do rehash most of it, but there some nuggets of info on this disc that are very cool !! I really liked the part about them getting the sleeper van and the interviews of the truck drivers and the stage crew !! I also realized that Alex is just a super cool, down to earth kinda guy !! But as you keep watching this documentary it becomes very clear that R40 was indeed their last concert tour !! I'm so glad that I got to go see them in Philadelphia with my brother and my best friend and most importantly my son !! Witch was our first father/son concert together and I will remember that night for the rest of my life !! But as I said, their touring days are over !! As you watching this and they start talking about what they are going to do after the hiatus from the Clockwork Angles tour (also saw in Philly) and Neil was prepared not to tour, but Alex talked him into doing one last tour because he didn't how much longer he could play with his arthritic hands, lucky for us Neil gave in !! It was very disheartening for me listening to both Alex and Neil talking about their ailments and how it was getting harder to play live !! I understand it, I'm no spring chicken myself and neither are they, but I'm going to truly miss seeing them live again !! I've seen them on every tour since Moving Pictures !! I'm just feeling the loss after watching this !!But if your on the fence about buying this, don't be !! It's probably one of the best documentary's out there !! Just buy it !! Oh, and the bonus content is pretty awesome too !! No 5.1, but still awesome footage of an earlier time !!

Great insight into what may be this bands last full tour. My only wish would have been to see them up in Milwaukee but alas they did not add a date even though it could have been done. I think they have some more music in them from a studio perspective but if they were to hit the road again how many dates could they do? How would you book a short tour and pick the cities that would be able to see them play again? If you did only 10 dates at a time and took a break how would that work? East coast, Midwest, Rockies and West coast? It will be interesting to see what happens next. As for Time Stand Still it was very emotional to watch things wind down for both the band and all the people that make a tour happen. After The Division Bell Tour David Gilmour said he was unsure if they would ever tour again and fire up the Pink Floyd road machine. That's a great point because they had 3 full sets crossing the USA for that tour. I don't think we realize all the logistics involved to make a tour happen, it's not an easy undertaking by any means.I have seen Rush live maybe 20 times? Certainly not as many times as some of the people in this video but I can't say I don't like them any less than those that follow them while on tour. I have owned and listened to every release. Some are better than others but I think it's a matter of subjective personal taste. I actually like Caress of Steel and find Feedback something that can be put to the side because I don't connect with it at all. Bottom line they were a huge part of my teen years growing up, they never disappointed me at a live show and more importantly they never disappointed me in their conduct away from the stage. They always aimed for perfection and have proven to be just decent ordinary men with families and close friends. How rare and refreshing has that been in this day and age?
