I have been wanting to become a back sleeper for years (for healing ear piercings, wrinkle prevention etc) and I’ve tried at least 10 pillows & 20 different bed setups to accommodate that goal over the last few years. This slim little pillow blows them all out of the water. I rarely write reviews, even for things I love, but the world must know about this one. The firmness is perfect for me (not stiff, just like a supportive foam pillow) and my neck and head are finally happy, allowing me to stay on my back all night without turning over at all. I ordered a second one as a backup & will likely order a third for travel in case these ever stop being sold. I’m in love & my search for the perfect pillow is over!

I’ve had chronic neck pain and headaches that have gotten progressively worse for at least 2 years. I’ve seen my doctor, tried anti inflammatories, muscle relaxants, physical therapy and other pillows with not much success. Then I found this pillow. The reviews that say it is rock hard, I disagree with that. It is firm, but that is what my neck needed. The curve is perfect because it stays in constant contact with my neck throughout the night giving it full support either sleeping on my back or side. After my first night my neck wasn’t stiff and I could look up and extend my neck without pain for the first time in a year. I’m off all those useless meds and I am kicking myself because I didn’t realize sooner that my pillow was the bulk of my neck pain and headaches.If you have a stiff neck and shoulders I’d give this pillow a chance!

This pillow is an absolutely perfect size and shape, but when I first received it, I wrote an unfavorable review (now deleted) because I felt that the pillow was too firm.It is very, very firm, that is true. I requested a return and had it in my car to drop off, but later thought better of it... there are some nights when my neck needs firm support and I can also see this being useful for times when I'm watching TV and the other pillows I'm resting on are too squishy. I brought it back out of my car and into the house, but that is where this gets interesting... just a few minutes after I brought it inside and set it on a chair, my daughter's St. Bernard got the pillow and chewed up the corner (and the case, of course) in no time. I got the pillow away from the dog, but it wasn't nice like it had been before. I thought that if I ordered a new case I could at least cover the damage but I didn't see a separate listing for the case. I posted a question on the product page asking where I could get a cover. The seller replied and offered to send one to me. I haven't received it yet, but I really do appreciate the fact that they are watching the feedback on their product and resolving issues - even though my problem was caused by a dog, not the product. I have changed my rating to a 4 to acknowledge that the shape/design of this is great and because of the good customer service.If I could change one thing about the pillow, I would suggest that they offer both medium and firm models of this pillow, or better yet, a pillow with a firm core but a layer of soft foam on the outside to be both firm but comfortable. I'm not sure that is even possible, but I think it would be a great product.I would also change my previous review... I was too quick to judge it and I think it deserves a better rating than I gave it earlier.

Pro's: Arrived quickly. No smell or oder after opening the package. It is summer and warm right now so the pillow is soft.1st night sleeping on it. Woke up fairly comfortable. Little to no headache nor neck ache in the morning. (Had there been more support closer to the top of my shoulders and base of my neck, It would have 5 stars.) You can not feel the little designer bumps in the middle.I think there spinal measurements are for their country (China) not USA or European countries (where body types differs greatly). I am a tall American woman and the pillow doesn't reach all the way to where it should (to the top of shoulders and base of neck).Recommendation:I'm also in the medical field and this is why I think they should come up with different heights, small, medium, large and xl. They need to measure all races and ethnic groups. A little more support (2 inches higher on thick end). 1/2 inch more support on thin end.Con's: It can get hard in the cold. Unsure about products effects on health and breathing issues. HRV dropped significantly from 60 to 35.

After your neck and head adjust to the positioning, this is game-changing for back sleepers. I love this pillow and am so glad I stuck with it. It's helped with so many neck and shoulder pains I was experiencing. Bonus points for helping with my skin too since It prevents me from sleeping on my face and the plethora of issues that comes with that. I would highly recommend this to those who are back sleepers and those who are working to become a back sleeper!

This Pillow Sucks!! A sock would be a better pillow!3-5 second rebound? (You can't see me, but I laughed so hard I fell off my chair!)No. It is instant. A marshmallow would give better support than this "pillow." The moment I put my head on it, it flattened into nearly nothing.I guess the search continues for a better neck pillow.
