Well I changed my review. After trying a couple more of these I decided they were actually good. The first one I tried was a little dry, not my favorite flavor, but after all was done they were great. I even gave a few away and the person I gave them to ordered some for themselves. So we're all square now! They are good and definitely worth the price I paid. The boxes these come in are a bonus. My husband took it for use in his garage! I noticed these had a bunch of bad reviews, but I don't understand why? They are good! And fresh, and tasty. No more quick judgment from me! LOL

This is my second time to receive David's products that were unsatisfactory.......Several years ago I ordered your product that was unsatisfactory, (by MY standards) but having been years ago, I decided to give your company another chance. The brownies were packaged as promised, individually. but they were very dry and crumbly, browinies should be moist and decadent. They mentioned they had been making them, since 1979 (memory may be a fail) but I think they saved me some from their first batch creation, lol......sorry it is not funny as they were not cheap to buy. You got a second chance, now finally I will not buy from David's again.....maybe I expected too much but I have bought brownies that were special, delicious, decadent, and moist from my local market.

Like many other reviews, I found the crumb cake quite enjoyable, in fact I practically inhaled it. The brownies however, not so much. Two, with chocolate chips, were completely dried out. I even tried breaking one up in ice cream, thinking the melting ice cream would help make it more palatable. It did not. I tried a different variety of brownie today, and while it was not dried out, it was basically flavorless. The description indicates use or freeze within 48 hours. My experiences above were all within 24 hours of delivery. I've wrapped all remaining and tossed in the freezer, probably to be forgotten, though the crumb cake was memorable and I would try that one again. And of course the tin is a nice memento.

I’ve ordered these twice now and they are so good and always so fresh. They freeze well too.

It arrived in a box marked perishable, but I could not figure out how long it had been in transit, so I opened it immediately. There was no documentation until you turned the tin over to find a teeny tiny little sticker that said, perishable: use or freeze within 2 days.We opened the cookies first. Hard & stale. Warming did not help. Not individually wrapped so into a freezer bag & freezer they went to be salvaged later.Then we opened the individually wrapped brownies. They were delicious! We were expecting more variety but what we received was good. Since the cookies were stale, the brownies were the only part of the order we served our guests. Pretty disappointing. Wish we had taken the time to read the negative reviews more closely. Would buy the brownies again but not the cookies. Didn’t meet expectations.

I was so excited for these brownies to come so I could try them. As soon as I opened the box I had my 3 toddlers swarming me. I got a bite of the chocolate chip brownie before I had a little hand came and grab it and ran away, it tasted good. Sadly I only got 1 of one flavor brownie, 5 of the pecan, and 4 of the chocolate chip, so I will be hiding to eat that one of the cheesecake flavor. Hahaha Each brownie and cake are individually wrapped, and I can't wait to to reuse the tin. Thank you for making this pregnant momma happy.

We purchased the Brownies. They are delicious. What I like is that there are a variety, some with nuts, some without. I can't do nuts for various reasons. So I was delighted that I too was able to enjoy this treat. Also they are reasonably priced and packaged in a nice tin. Would make a nice gift.
