The silicone sleeve protects the remote key perfectly, really thick material, and looks really good. In fact, the sleeve provides a more reliable tactile response when operating any of the functions. The only thing that is missing is the panic button marked on the sleeve.

Works as intended with a nice texture and styling
This is a nice key fob cover. It is a snug silicone style. Has a nice texture to keep it from falling out of pockets. The stock one is a nice, smooth gloss piano black that I am sure will fall out and get scratched very easily without this protector. The red stripe adds some styling to it that matches the GTI.
