This was great for a child's party. Held up through multiple hits.

It is a good likeness and the actual piñata looks great but there is a big flaw in the design - the neck is a major weak point. The neck section felt really flimsy out of the box and I was concerned about how it would hold up once the kids started swinging at it. As it turned out, after the fourth good whack, the piñata broke off at the neck before the body broke so nothing spilled out. Major let down for the kids.If you do buy this, I recommend using something like duct tape to reinforce the neck section which, in hindsight, is what I should have done.Overall, it is a good looking piñata and I would give it 4 to 5 stars if the neck section were better reinforced and able to withstand more than four hits from a 6 year old.UPDATE: I don't recall seeing the 'Pull String' as part of the description when I was purchasing so the problem I encountered was due to my using the piñata improperly - trying to break it open by hitting it with a stick versus using the pull strings. Since I didn't use the pull strings, I can't comment on whether they worked or not but I am bumping my rating up one star from 2 to 3 because the weak point was my error.

Great piñata! We stuffed the head and body as full as we could and had not problems hanging it up. We did have to pull the hole a little bigger when the string pulled it open so more candy would come out. Prob bc we stuffed it with some bigger stuff like ring pops and tootsie pops. Would def purchase again.

Used for my sons indoor party. Each kid loved getting the chance to pull a string and finally get the candy. It didn't break as i held it but dueto the other reviews i didn't over fill it. Over all it worked for me and my son was a very happy birthday boy (:

This was a disappointing purchase. The piñata was a nice size, and the appearance was great - much better looking than most of the other spiderman piñatas we saw. We were not in favor of the new drawstring approach to pinatas, because what happens when the first string pulls all of the candy out? So we just intended to trim the strings and use a good old fashioned bat. But we never got that far ...We did not put much candy in the piñata at all, and as soon as we hung the piñata, the piñata broke at the neck. We tried to rig it back up many different ways just so the kids and the birthday boy could have SOME fun with it, but we were not able to get it back together in any viable way. Major letdown. After 15 minutes of fussing with it and a major lull in the party fun, we just ripped it open and threw the candy at the kids.I would not recommend!

This pinata was a huge hit at our 5 year old's birthday party. It held up well and the kids got to really swing and bash it around. Everyone got a lot swing time and finally big brother finished it off to let the candy fall.
