I love this book!!! I am new to quilting and I thought it would be fun to make a Bible based quilt. The blocks are matched up to Bible verses. Some of the blocks I was already familiar with but did not know they could also be used in a Bible quilt. The pictures are beautiful and the instructions are easy to understand. There is also a CD of templates that came with it. If you are looking for quilt blocks based on the Bible then this book will help you find all the blocks you need.

The author took traditional quilt blocks and matched them to related Bible passages. She then organized the blocks into a very beautiful quilt! The presentation of the verses and blocks is very nice, whether you are a quilter or not. She also provides all block assembly steps in the book plus a bonus CD with templates, etc. This was a really great book idea! I will have to order more for quilt-loving friends!

We are using this book in a small quilting group. It has been great to be able to do a short devotional on each Bible verse before making the block each week. There are a lot of Y seams where it could be done in a different technique so it isn't easy for beginners or even intermediate quilters. We are redrafting those blocks so everyone can participate.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my best friend who cried for joy when she opened it. We looked through the book together and appreciated the layout and information for each block and how the actual pattern and cutting instructions are in their own section. There are blocks for beginners all the way through to very complex, challenging blocks. No possibility of being bored -- definitely money well spent!

how to make it in different sized blocks. we need to have more sizes

I really like everything about this book. The looks, and what it offers. I love the fact that I can make a quilt that will tell the Biblical story as well. This is the 2nd one I ordered because the first had the CD broken that it came with. I was shipped out another quickly and the CD is fine. :)

I wanted a book with patterns not a cd.
