The boards are not long enough, or they're too long. It's difficult to place the X braces on the back (we, in fact, couldn't connect one end of the bottom brace because nothing would align. It's a great idea to tie the shelving unit to the wall, though I doubt it would fall without the tether. These shelves hold a lot of stuff and allowed us to get things out of boxes and off the floors in a very limited space.

This was a little taller than I expected(I should have measured, lol), but it works great for my guest bathroom. The assembly wasn't difficult; however, the instructions were awful so I spent a bit of time scratching my head about a few things. I don't love how the nuts are visible and stick out so much that I cannot have the shelf all the way against the wall, but they were mostly hidden once I put stuff on the shelves. The shelf looks as pictured and feels very sturdy/good quality.

The one thing I hate most about purchasing new household items is having to put it together! When I saw these folding shelves I thought this is too good to be true and ordered 3. My son needed a good bookshelf in his room and I needed extra storage in the kitchen. The most difficult thing about these shelves is getting them out of the box. As 1 person setting these up, I laid it down with the red string where I could access it because I figured if it was taped to the outside of the box it must be important (it is, it's the feet that screw in to the bottom to level it) I pulled it out and fussed with all of the styrofoam pieces getting them out of the way and making a mess on the kitchen floor. With it laying on its side, I started at the bottom securing the shelves. They snap down onto the frame. After all 4 shelved were secure, I put the feet on the bottom and stood it up. It was done! That was it. Super easy and exactly what I needed.

I absolutely adore this bookshelf, but the last metal beam in the back does not fit.

Sleek modern look, instructions straightforward. The metal parts ensure that you don't do something stupid during construction that damages the stability of the book case. One of the bookcases had a missing part, but the vendor responded to my email within an hour and arranged for express delivery of the missing part. All in all, the best bookcase in this price range I've seen and very responsive support.

The AZL1 Life Concept Accent 4-Tier Folding Bookshelf arrived safely packaged. It is a bit heavy to unpack, but this buyer is very pleased with the design, color, size and ease of assembly. 5 stars!

It housed pictures and candles in the corner of our kitchen perfect.

I wanted a small shelving unit for my office that I didn't have to spend an hour or more putting together. So I am very glad I decided to purchase this one! Just screw the feet to the bottom, open it up, and snap the shelves into place. It feels pretty sturdy, although my use of the shelf is just to hold some decor items and books and not be constantly pulling things off of and putting them back on. I will most likely purchase another down the road to put in another room in my home.

This shelving unit was easy to put together, with a bit of strength snaps worked well. Is very solid and stable and looks great, a simple and elegant unit. I ordered a 2nd one.

Set up for a few books and pictures in my mothers room, would like a second one, please restock soon

This shelf is exactly what I was looking for. Just unfolds. A bigger one would be good too!
