They are perfect for dividing up ingredients when you're cooking a recipe; as an amateur jewelry maker, I also use them to sort and arrange beads and small metal parts for crafting. I always have one next to my computer, to put my teabag into when I'm working and drinking tea. They're great for sewing notions, small hardware pieces, really any small items you want to sort and arrange. You can also put a little bit of potting soil in one, just enough to root a small plant cutting, and it's shallow and small enough that you can easily monitor when the roots are starting to grow. They are pretty sturdy (but of course, they are glass, so you have to be careful), easy to clean, and stack up for compact storage. Highly recommend for pretty much anything!

These mini glass bowls are ideal for many kitchen and table uses. For dipping sauces on the dinner table. They are also great during food preparation to hold pre-measured herbs, spices and liquid ingredients which need adding at various times during the cooking process. Also, for small taste-samplings.

I am surprised by how much I use these little glass bowls. I bought them for when I cook, but find that I use them for other things too, like small portions of ice cream. I highly recommend these bowls.

Today's one-dish dinner recipes are more complicated than the ole meat-potatoes-veg dinners of yore. To keep track as you cook and not get stuck having to peel, fry, toast, or marinate some ingredient in the unmemorizably long recipe, just fill each little dish with just the right amount of prepared whatever-it-is before the cooking process starts, and you'll fly through dinner preparation with less worry. The little dishes stack nicely and get clean in the dishwasher.

These dishes are the perfect size for holding ingredients when cooking. Also, great for small desserts. Very nice quality.

These bowls are so brittle it's dangerous to even stack them together. Be super careful with dish water or you'll carve your hand up on shards. Super dangerous product. Don't believe the other reviews.
