These are small enough to sit side by side on my desk and are very pretty. Base is 1-5/8" across. Pens and dry erase markers fit in receptacle just fine. The receptacle is fixed in place, the angle isn't adjustable which is just fine for my purposes. I think if it moved to different angles that would create a stress point and it would probably break off. I'm very happy with these!

It is a beautiful stand but they sent the wrong color.

I wanted an attractive ink pen holder for my desk, and these, though intended for more public use (like weddings), fit the bill nicely. They are just hefty enough to hold a pen without falling over, and they are a bit old-fashioned. And very attractive. And you get TWO.

I like the look of this set, but they were much smaller than I was hoping for. They do barely hold a regular ballpoint pen well enough, but are so shallow that my new quill just falls right out. I am satisfied with the quality, they both arrived in one piece. Very pretty aesthetically, and good value for a set of 2. I am just disappointed that they don't work for the purpose I bought them for. I saw other review photos of quills in this stand and have no idea how those folks got them to work.

Perfect! Unfortunately my quill pen never came with a holder. The quill set was gifted to me several years ago but it didn’t come with a holder, so I’ve kept it safe in the box on a book shelf. I really wanted it out on display to both be seen and used, so this is absolutely perfect, and looks great together considering.

The ornate design is lovely. I installed pads in the bottom and used fabric glue to attach them to my home made ink stand.

It isn't even heavy enough to hold a pen. I guess this is only for plastic pens. But why would anyone want to display a plastic pen?
