Yes, pegs are included, and there is a fairly useless storage compartment - the cover slides right out so easily that it might as well not be included.

Does it come with a deck of cards

yes. And several wooden pegs, but could use nicer pegs. It comes in a great aluminum case. Very classy.

Does the board come out of the metal case ?

Yes. The board comes out of the metal case. But the case is great and comes with a deck of cards. Actually it's very attractive and protects the cribbage board. The only problem I had was that it could have used some nicer pegs.

what are the exact dimensions of the board/opening of where board goes also..

The opening where the board goes is 14 7/8" X 4 1/4". The case is longer because it also holds a deck of cards. Case is aluminum and is 18 3/8" X 4 3/4". Very high quality and done with superb craftsmanship. Five Stars. Highly Recommended.
