Hands down the BEST purchase I've made this year....absolute bliss!!
Man, I wish I'd purchased something like this YEARS ago. I've been using them every night for a few weeks and I don't want to EVER be without them. I have suffered from hot feet at night for decades and it has wreaked havoc on my ability to sleep, as a result. When I say hot feet, I mean hot......like surface of the freaking sun. In order to sleep I've had to have a fan blowing directly on them and at times I've attempted to use ice packs. In the winter I will go outside and stand on the concrete in the middle of the night to get relief. The intensity of the heat is on the bottom of my feet so regular ice packs aren't very effective since you can't keep them in position after you fall asleep. When I saw these I couldn't click "add to cart" and checkout fast enough. The only issue I have is that you get two pairs of socks and only one set of ice packs. I did order another set of ice packs to fix that problem, but it seems to me that it would make sense to have a set for each pair. I keep both pairs in the freezer with the ice packs inserted so that on the really bad nights when my feet are so hot that I need to use both I always have one pair ready to go. I wear a womens size 9 shoe and they fit me comfortably with out stretching them out at all. There is plenty of stretch in them though, so if you've got bigger feet they will absolutely stretch to accommodate and do so comfortably. I put them on just as I'm going to sleep and most nights they stay cool enough that I don't wake up due to burning feet and I'm still wearing them in the morning. I never, in a gazillion years, thought I would ever sleep with something on my feet. Not only do I sleep, I fall asleep so much quicker, frequently sleep the whole night through without once waking up once due to burning feet from hell, and even when I do wake up the instant ice cold relief from the second pair waiting in the freezer allows me to drop off again almost immediately. If you have issues with pain or heat on the bottoms of your feet, seriously just buy them. You will NEVER regret it.

Excellent Product Fit My Feet Perfectly
I was first introduced to these cold therapy socks when a friend gave me a pair. I have now just received 2 more pair from my recent purchase. I am an active 73-year-old still engaged in water sports and more recently pickleball. My wife and I have become addicted to that sport and play as much as possible. I’ve dealt with plantar fasciitis off and on for several years. I also have low level neuropathy in my feet which is age related according to the neurologist I saw. Playing pickleball on cement courts is tough on one’s feet. I always use special supportive socks and orthotics in my shoes to help with the plantar fasciitis but my new weapon is to use these TheraCloud cold therapy socks as soon as I get home from the court. I keep two pairs in the freezer all the time. Not just the gel inserts but the whole sock with the gel insert already in place so all I have to do is take them from the freezer and slip them on. They have helped my condition significantly including reduction of swelling in my ankles. I have size 9 ½ size feet and they are the right snugness to hold the gel packs firmly. The pain of plantar fasciitis could keep me off the court but by consistently taking care of my feet in this way I hope to keep playing for years .

AHHHH!
Like someone else said the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there is only one pair gel packs. Having said that....AHHHHHH! Relief. Comfortable and I think the velcro strap is a must. I've been using them for a year or two and just ordered for my pregnant friend

Plantar Fascilitis? These are for you!
I’ve spent some bucks on here looking for what will work for me with this awful PF taking a chunk out of my life. This review is ONLY referring to Plantar Facilitis which needs the heel iced. I’ve tried just buying the ice cooling packs thinking they’d work in my socks, but that didn’t work out. I’ve tried the plastic hard slippers which were a joke for me. The freezing cold on the rest of my foot just made me miserable as there was no pain there. Then I tried just a pair of similar slippers like these, but since you don’t buy by size, they were super tight on my toes, and try as I might, I could not get the ice pack close enough to my heel without pushing up against a pillow or having my feet on the floor. They were also way too hard to get the pack into and I was always struggling. Then I saw these. The price was right, (the color of course, was pretty), and I was intrigued by the strap. Let me tell you… that strap makes all the difference for PF. It holds the pack against your heel where it needs to be. The socks are roomy enough for a foot larger than a 6. (I wear a woman’s 9 and there is still plenty of toe room without scrunching toes. The fabric is so soft, it’s like slipping your foot into a cloud. I struggled with the lighter weight fabric of the prior slippers. The folds on the bottom of the sock are not so layered that it’s difficult to slip in the pack. It slides right in without issue. I’ve finally created a routine and able to easily do what the doc said, which was to ice those painful heels 3 times a day. I love these and so happy to have finally found something that works!

Not so great
I had some cold therapy socks few years ago and they were great. Now I am suffering the effects of a botched surgery and have developed some neuropathy. I was so happy to try these. They’re so soft and were easy to put on, even though I have some physical challenges. But they don’t remain cold. I was worried that because the ice pack is directly on my skin they would be too cold. The fact is the ice pack doesn’t come from the freezer very cold and you only feel the cooling for 20-30 minutes. I had barely gone to sleep when the pain was back, even worse because now my foot was too warm with the sock on!

Not very cold relative to other socks
Didn’t find these socks to be very cold, both when first putting on and they warm up very fast. I like other ice pack sock brands more.
