It does not stay put well, BUT I have our dogs in her food raised rack in place of the food bowl insert and it sits fine. It REALLY slows her down shes now forced to eat pieces and chew- she was a rescue so before she was inhaling her food and then puking it all whole back up.

Love this bowl for my puppy. Had purchased another brand that was just frustrating him but this has been perfect except….. There are little plastic pieces on the bottom of the bowl that easily detach and pose a hazard to puppies. I found one on the floor and was able to remove another from my puppy’s mouth before he swallowed it. I haven’t been able to find the other two so…… Manufacturer needs to rethink this piece and yes I remove the bowl after puppy eats. Great bowl for puppies, just make sure to remove these pieces prior to feeding your puppy.

Have two big labradors and the girls are just pigs when they eat and the vet said they were getting a little fluffy and needed to cut back on their feed so I bought these bowls and that has helped so much. I bought one and pink and one and turquoise, the only issue I have with them is that they slide around on the floor but they have taken care of the issue of the girls eating too fast

My dogs refuse to eat out of their normal food bowls anymore. I have 2 large breed dogs and I feel it is the perfect size.

I have two lab-type dogs who spent most of their life (prior to me) not having near enough food. When I got these dogs, they snarfed down their food in seconds. Really, not even 60 seconds. I bought these slow-feeder dog bowls and it's made all the difference for them. I feed them in crates, and they relax, lay down, and eat their food. The entire family is calmer because of these bowls.

It is a good product. It suits its purpose. I do wish the bowl was a little deeper. I can barely add the recommended amount of food for this puppy. It won’t grow with his feedings as he grows.

This is the best thing ever for my puppy! He was eating his food so quickly then would run over to his big brother’s bowl and eat his food too. Now our older dog has time to finish his food!Such a great product
