Work necessary
I work in a kitchen with fryers, ovens and hot pans. These have done the job wonderfully in helping me avoid any burns on my arms. A little warm to wear but the protection has made them worth it.

Works good
Every once in a while a spark gets through but no more burnt arms. A bit tight for the first day and I have smaller arms, but does stretch out.

Good temp diffusion
Bought to cover an auxiliary heater duct in a van. The duct has gotten to nearly 200°, and these sleeves allow it to rest against plastic w/o melting it. Should be great preventing burns in a hot engine bay.

Looser weave, snaggable fabric, but works well
Fits decently large male forearms. Fabric is relatively breathable but not super elastic. Loser weave is less soft and snaggable, but protects as it needs to.Holds up to 4" poi on ballchain and protects arm hair against larger prop flames like a 3' fire sword.
