Product looked great but cracked in just a few minutes after lighting it. The day was about 65 degrees so no thermal shock. Not worth the price. And not worth time to return it as we didn't expect it to crack and had already thrown away the packing material. Just a lesson learned on this item

The media could not be loaded. I loved the first one so much I bought a second one. I have them on my patio table and they give such a nice ambience at night. I bought the 4 inch sterno cans, which has a bigger top and gives a bigger flame. I am absolutely in love with these things.

Wanted a medium-sized table-top pit to enjoy on my patio. This seems like a perfect answer—and I do enjoy it. It’s attractive, portable and very easy to use. Just a couple of complaints. First, the metal container in the center of the pit holds about 16fl oz of rubbing alcohol and was advertised to burn about 2 hrs or so, this is not exactly true. It will only will burn for a good hour before you’ll need to refill. And definitely use an extended wand lighter or you’ll burn yourself.. Second, I define would not use this indoors because the 70%+ rubbing alcohol does not burn completely odorless. If you’re sitting downwind from the fire—you’ll get a slight whiff. And third, the fire pit sustained a visible hairline crack down the entire side of the pit after the very first use. No further damage noticeable since then but keeping my fingers crossed. Otherwise, I’m pleased with it so far.

This is a wonderful product that is sturdy and stable, and produces a great flame. I use the 91% alcohol and the flame is very high and last quite a while. I have never even filled up the fuel bowl to the top. Highly recommend this product for easy, small and portable atmosphere.

So far it’s fabulous. Adds so much ambiance to the patio. Have only used it once but it’s everything I expected. Love it.

Product seems nice and sturdy and hopefully stands up to our use. My only complaint is that the stock photos are far from realistic. If you look at my pictures that I shared, you’ll see that they really went light on the amount of river rocks. The rocks provided do not fill the bowl or even provide coverage over the gel can. Come on now! How much money would it cost you to provide a substantial amount of rocks to fill the bowl and make it look nice? Pretty lame if you ask me, for that reason I knocked off two stars because I had to spend an extra $10 just to get a enough rocks to make it look like the false advertising photos they provided. Too many options out there to be cheap on the stone… Don’t think I’d buy again, probably would look elsewhere.
