I purchased this as a gift and the quality is horrible! It's thin, has brown running through the yarn and the tail is small, not at all what it looks like in the picture! Buyer beware! I ordered this on Nov. 28, well in advance of Christmas and it got here Dec. 24. I've never had something take that long. The quality was so poor, loose strings everywhere, terribly wrinkled and it came without any tags, looking like grandma knitted it in a hurry. There are so many of these blankets that are higher quality which you can buy that are made in the U.S.

I Was extremely disappointed in my mermaid blankets they were first, ALOT smaller than I expected my average 8 year old couldn't get her feet through the tail part and I was disappointed to see that the tail was open on the end I thought it was like a sleeping bag blanket, sadly it was open. For my second blanket it showed up with a giant hole between the tail and the fin part. I would not recommend these for children over the age of 4 and if you're looking for closed tailed or thick quality don't bother buying these!

I bought this for my daughter, and she absolutely loved it. However, as soon as she put it on, the seam ripped. I think this needs some type of lining or something to make this product more long-lasting as it is quite thin (even for the material). My daughter was happy, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

Smaller than I was expecting but nice quality. The only thing I really don't like is that it isn't stretchy at all so there's no give to the foot opening or the body opening. It's not made for large or tall children. I would say six and under, at the most.

I bought this for my niece and personally thought that it was a little skimpy in the weave but she was thrilled with it so I guess that's all that counts. As long it made her happy, I'm happy. She has literally lived in it.

I was so excited to give this as a Christmas gift .It has an enormous rip in it .Almost looks like it was never even stitched .
