Bought it as a Christmas gift for my grandpa it was perfect 😍

It's a nice little watch. My son picked it out for his dad. The only downside is that the second hand doesn't work...but I suppose that's par for the course with a $17 watch. My husband thinks it's a sweet gesture from a 7 year old, so it's definitely a "thought that counts" gift.

This isn’t your top of the line pocket watch and you shouldn’t expect it to be. Its 18 dollars and honestly I was expecting way worse for that price but when it arrived I was totally surprised how high quality it actually is. Now that being said there are some drawbacks I’ve noticed looking at it close.’ 1. The front cover uneven (not to an insane amount) I only noticed because of how closely I looked at it. 2. Like I said before it’s not top of the line quality but more like around mid quality, not the best not the worst. If you have a sedimental grandpa who likes pocket watches of sorts (I imagine most of yours do) this is a pretty perfect gift for them.

I love pocket watches. This one had exactly what I was looking for in an everyday carry timepiece. Yes, it's a quartz and usually I prefer skeleton automatic or mechanical movements. The smooth sweep of the minute hand while watching the gears and listening to the "tick-tick-tick" sounds of a precision jeweled movement count the time. But this time, I needed a quartz watch for the advantage of accuracy it has over most mechanical or automatic movements. I did not want to spend a lot of money either, but still wanted a nice-looking pocketwatch. I love this product! If anything happens to it, I am out $17 USD. Will just get another one!

Those reviews weren't lying! This is a fabulous product. I got this for my father for a gift from his grandchildren. He loves pocket watches and I know he is going to love this. It's a good weight and the chain is a nice length. It pops open flawlessly. I did have to reset the time, but it wasn't hard.The gift box is a nice touch, but you're not going to be able to use it. The suppliers need to change the packaging to not include the GIANT white sticker that wraps all the way around and you can't remove it neatly.I'm going to see if I can get it engraved on the back for him!

I was very pleasantly surprised when my granddaughter bought me this watch for a Christmas present. It is a good replica of the old fashioned watches I saw as a child. I am glad the face is covered with plastic even after the case it opened... some old watches exposed the hands. It even says "The Greatest Grandpa!" The fact that is well made and keeps good time is a bonus! Who cares that it isn't solid gold!
