Update 2 months later: still a cute design but not holding up. The lid slowly started staying open rather than the soft close it he initially and now won’t stay closed even if I push down on the lid.I Love this matte black little can! The interior hooks keep the liner in place and no-show from the from the exterior.

I have been searching for a small, narrow trash can with a lid to keep in the small corner next to the cats' litter box. I've been using small, biodegradable bags to hold scooped litter but they just sit on the floor in a heap. I needed to find something that looked nicer and could contain the litter waste bags. I had high hopes for this trash can but it ended up being nothing but an overpriced disappointment. It is packaged nicely in it's own little box and sent in an Amazon box. Somehow, it arrived damaged, which appears to be a common occurrence after reading many of the other reviews. I can get past the minor dents since it's just a trash receptacle to hold used litter, but come on with the other stuff. The foot pedal is pretty much useless, which is fine since I have mobility issues and need to lift the lid with my hand. What IS annoying is that the lid does not stay open and there is no way to prop it open so I can scoop directly into the trash bag inside the trash can. Also, those hooks inside serve NO purpose except to rip the trash bag when trying to extract it from the can. I ended up ripping the hooks out of the inside of the trash can. Useless AF. Until I can actually find a suitable trash can for my litterbox waste, I'll have to keep using this one. It was an expensive lesson.

We've only had this trash can for a few days. We like the size and love that it has a soft close lid. I was pleasantly surprised to see a sticker on the package with the sellers pic and a message. I also thought it was really nice that he and his wife send emails to follow up on their sales to see what purchasers think of their product. There were two things that we felt could improve this product. One, the bottom slides on smooth floors, so maybe putting rubber on the bottom would help that. Also having hooks inside is a great idea, however we found the bags don't stay on the hooks. Adding additional hooks to the ends so there are hooks on all sides and making the hooks a little longer might solve the problem. Or possibly changing the hooks to a clip/clamp instead.

The trash can is small and that’s what I needed. It is expensive but sleek. First arrived with a dent on the lid straight out of the box. The box wasn’t damaged so I ordered a replacement. The second came the very next day but with 2 dents straight out of the box as well. The replacement is worse that the first one. The boxes are not damaged either. Way too expensive for a damaged mini trash can.

Not to make a pun, but this thing is garbage. The first one they sent me look like somebody had stepped on it and it was broken, the second one I used twice and the foot pedal stopped working. The lid would no longer close flush with the can, and the little hooks that they brag about holding the trash bag don't hold anything. This thing is ridiculous.

I like the color, shape and the "soft close". I think small adjustments could elevate this good trash can to an excellent trashcan. First the clips are nice to have, but placement and design make them not just awkward but potentially could cause injury. The material of clips is a thin metal with sharp edges,, and location of the clips could cause injury to hands reaching in to clip or remove bags. My suggestion is rubber or silicone split tunes that "snap on" or "slide on" along edges of interior basket to secure, the added benefit besides saving injury to your fingers and hands is it would close silently as well as slowly!

And the color is perfect except the lid is completely not in line with the body of the trashcan and there’s scuff marks in the metal on the top right of the trashcan lid. I like this trash can. I picked it for the color and its small size. The inside slides out for easy cleaning if a trash bag is not used. I do not use the hooks inside, and I place a plastic grocery bag inside. It does have a slow closing lid. As you can see, it is slim, and I have it on a shelf next to my toilet, and it fits great. I would recommend if a small trash can is what you are looking to purchase.
