I was a little weary after reading the reviews, 6 days later I received my cushion and I was very pleased. The dimensions fit my standard size papasan perfectly and it is nice and comfy. Plain and simple as that!

Super comfortable, but a little smaller than I thought it would be. Leaves gaps between frame and cushion when sat in, but very comfortable and the perfect color!

Ok, where do I begin. Seems simple enough right? I want a cushion for my papasan chair, easy. Well not so much it appears.So my original cushion just wore down and had many rips and tares in it, so I wanted to replace it.My papasan chair skeleton (the bamboo part) the diameter was exactly 45 inches. I am an engineer and I measured twice before I ordered...then again after I got the cushion.This cushion SPECIFICALLY states it is for a 45 inch diameter standard papasan chair. Well I should have listened to the other reviews on this product because the cushion was too small. Exactly 7 inches too small. Yea that is a big difference.If you try and center the cushion its about 3 inches short all the way around and totally exposes the bamboo frame.LOOK at the picture of this product...do you see the bamboo frame? NO! You just see the black cushion with the base sticking out a bit.Oh did I mention that the cushion is an oval, not a perfect circle...humm, how is that supposed to work?Now...I gave this product 1 stars because the cushion itself is ok. Its soft and cushy. But I am a full grown man...it would be great for a small child, but if I lean back, my head will hit the bamboo frame.Also lets get to the price. This cushion was $65!!! I thought I was buying a quality product, because I certainly paid for one. I mean your only buying a freaking big pillow really. Yea, its got a special shape, so I figured they would bump the price up, but I didn't get what I paid for...I got a small cushion that is actually in the shape of an oval not a perfect circle.I am seriously considering returning this product. I am a busy person and really don't want the inconvenience to return something then order another one for probably more money. But just on principle I will most likely return it once the weekend starts and I have some time to seriously search for a papasan chair cushion that will fit.Bottom line, if you have a small child and want this, Id say go for it. But if they decide to grow up (as most do) they will out grow it and will not be good for adults. Oh, and it DOES NOT fit a standard 45 inch papasan chair...its just too small.

It does come a little bit small, however I figured out it can be stretched out, as the packaging condenses it. After about 3 minutes of kneading and pulling every few inches while laid out on the floor, it got to nearly full size covering a 45" frame, as you can see in the before and after shots of it below. I'm leaving it draped out over the chair bowl flipped upside down overnight to let it flatten further.It feels comfortable, and very plush otherwise. If it stays stretched out and continues to fit the chair properly, I'll up this to 4 stars, if it shrinks again or anything else, I'll drop it to 2.
