Took some time to arrive but well worth the wait - size was perfect!
I live in the Arizona desert and I have been looking for a glove that would work handling various cactus. I was intrigued by these gloves because i read they were puncture proof, and also that others had used them for handling cactus.I ordered these in July, knowing that they were on backorder, and since i didn't need them immediately, i was willing to wait. No issue with how long it took, but in case you need them quick, and they are out of stock, you might try another merchant. I found this to be the absolute best price, and again, I didn't need them immediately, so I was willing to wait. The one unknown for me was the size. I would not say I have the biggest hands in the world, but I've rarely found a gardening glove at one of the big box stores, even XL or XXL to really fit me. This glove had an option for XXXL, so I thought, let's try those and see what happens. The manufacturer even has a measuring tool you can print out online. I didn't try that but I figured, what's the worse that could happen? They might be a little loose, but for handling cactus, I wasn't exactly looking for a tight fit.Well, they arrived yesterday, July 29th, and I'm so glad I went for the XXXL! They fit perfectly. If they were any snugger, I would think I bought the wrong size. I'm super excited to use these, and while I haven't yet had an opportunity to pick up any cactus, I'm VERY happy with these gloves and would recommend anyone looking for a pair to not hesitate! I believe I will get many years of use out of these gloves. They are supposedly waterproof and I believe I read shock resistant, although I am hoping to never have to try either of those options. Just mentioning what I have read about these gloves.
