I bought this for one of my sister-in-law's Christmas gifts. She is delighted and impressed by this rasp!The rasp has 4 different surfaces for multiple uses in woodworking (and other projects). She is a dedicated and skilled do-it-yourself-er with many tools, but not a rasp. Not until now.I am impressed at how well it is made and like its heft.Crafts people, DIY-ers, this might be the rasp you need to add to your tool kit.

Sharp with variable textures coarse to fine. I needed it to file down some splinters and smoothen them and it did just that. Be careful tho u gotta grip it with a glove.

Good size, still be carefull when you sit in your car. Mostly for machetes and garden tools, not good for high quality knife, good companion in the woods and it can help you in many ways in an emergency when small iron piece is required.

Great little rasp. I needed to shave down a sticking door and this did the trick. It's very sturdy, well made, and a great value for the price.

Small flat metal files (2) work fine so far.

Arrived promptly, was well packaged, was as described, very satisfied.

This file is fairly small, clocking in a just under eight inches over long, which is fine as I intended to use if for small jobs. A nice feature is that one side is flat and the other is radiused, giving you a bit of versatility along with the four separate cutting faces. That being said, the stippling, especially on the radiused side can make it a bit uncomfortable on the hand during use, so that could be bothersome I suppose. While I am certainly not a file expert, it also seems that the crosshatching of the radiused side is done poorly with what appears to be a long flat spot and several spots where the cuts did not line up as intended, leading to visibly blunted teeth. While that's not what I would consider great QC, the narrow edges of the file were ground at the factory so at least I did not have to worry about any errant burrs.

This file worked for my project. I’m sure I’ll have use for this in the future as well.
