Q: I need one for cat6 cable which already has the termination rj jack on the end...will the jack fit through the hole then seal or only the bare cable?

Only the cable will fit. You will have to run the cable and install a new jack. You can get the jacks and crimp at Menards, a supply house, or even on amazon. Very simple installation, hope this helps.

Q: How to convert these to awg? i have to run a 16awg wire in my boat, these sizes are in mm.

The wire might be 16 gauge but this does not take into account the thickness of the insulation on the wire, which will vary on different wire types. Measure the wire with a pair of calipers (<$10 on Amazon and useful for so many things) so you know the actual diameter, and knowing that you will know which size gland to purchase. BTW, converting AWG to mm is as simple as a google search which would have taken you less time than posting your question.

Q: What is the IP rating on these?

They have a good rubber grommet and gasket. It will keep out water unless installed on a submarine. As far as true IP rating.... I don’t know, but If that’s a big concern of yours try a supply house.
