I purchased these for the simple fact they said heat resistant, I put them down and put my plate down which for the fact was only warm NOT even hot and this happened to my table!!!!! Contacted the seller and was told they are heat resistant up to 150 degrees, and they are sorry..... SORRY my table is destroyed, and my food wasn’t even close to 100 degrees let alone 150!!!!!!!

These placemats were cut wonky. They had the look of woven fabric that is unraveling, and in other areas the weave looked stretched.The table runner and placemats arrived tightly rolled up and would not flatten! I was going to wash them to hopefully speed up the process by running them under warm water, but noticed the wonky and unravelling issues so rolled it all back up and returned them.I have since found a similar look from a different mfg here on Amazon and those arrived flat! Much better, and better quality.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product.

Using these place mats on our wooden dining room table with guests. At cleanup time we lifted the place mat only to see rings on the wood from glasses sitting on the place-mat allowed condensation water from the water glass to pass thru to the wood.

These are gorgeous however they're super thin and don't protect your table from messes. Any little thing you spill goes straight through the mat. I think these serve as decoration purposes only.

I really like these because they are just as pictured and described. You can dress them up or down. They are not to thin but seem sturdy. They work for me. I chose the silver to go with my holiday decor and overall room design for after the holidays. The silver was perfect because it had a gray to it which makes it very versatile. So it picks up the gray in the room and the chair covers but the silver picks up the other decor in the room. love, love, love them.

I think the photos speak for themselves - they were taken the very same day I received them. I understood all the negative feedback about them not protecting the table due to liquid spills but I thought that the "Heat-resistant material to 300° F" would be able to protect the table from the microwaved bowl of pasta that I carried to the table with bare hands and ate out of (so I know it was nowhere near 300°). The bowl left noticeable indented rings on the placemat - meaning their appearance won't hold up past Day 1. And, clearly, ruined my table. I had been using cloth placemats until this point but, with the new puppy deciding they were very tasty, thought I'd switch to something less appetizing. I've never had this issue with cloth mats. I am SUPREMELY disappointed in this product and very sad for my table. I will be returning them. And for the record - they are not even in the realm of being non-slip.

Very pretty and easy to clean. They take a long time to dry though as the water stays trapped in the weave and drips onto the table. Also not as protective of my wood table as I would like as any food with liquid content, or liquid dripped on them will also seep through onto the table you wish to protect. So very beautiful but not the best at protection.

These placemats have the pros and cons of all vinyl woven mats.Pro - they look nice and come in all sorts of colors and patterns. I bought these to go with my new cabinets and floor color. They are washable and easy care. I have had other patterns in the past and they are still as good as new!Cons - things will drip through the small holes in the mat and you'll have to wipe off the mat and the table if something is spilled.

Slips and slides around the table. It's woven plastic, so anything spilled on it runs right through, meaning you have to clean both your placemat and your table off. Because of all the ridges in the weave it's a pain to wash (hand wash: it's not like traditional linen or cotton that you can throw in the washing machine) because you have to scrub hard to get all the food out of the nooks and crannies. With the holes and how thin they are I wouldn't trust it to do much in the way of insulating and protecting the table from heat damage.EDIT: Seller (Zhonghua E-commerce Direct) has now contacted me twice trying to bribe me to delete this review.

I am really pleased with the placemats therefore ordered two sets. I also have the runner to match. The table looked fantastic once it was laid. Certainly looks durable however, I had no reason to lay anything hot onto the surface so I couldn’t star rate that element. Highly recommend if you hold a lot of dinner parties. Delivery was prompt and packaged well.

I wasn't sure if to rate this as two or three stars. We do like it and expect it to flatten out soon, keeping it under a little tension as it arrived rolled.But (see three photos) on one edge, all the way down, the line wavers in and out. On the other edge it is cut perfectly straight. That means, depending on the colour of table you will be placing it on, you can see that it is not straight. I would not attempt to trim this as you can see from the photo it either sticks out or in. It is not a clean edge, whilst the other side (possibly end of the roll...?) is perfectly straight.I guess that depending on the colour of the table you are using it for will decide how obvious this is, if all the runners are made this way. With the small place mats I doubt that you would notice.Otherwise the quality of the runner is good for the price and, like I noted, we are hopeful that in time it will flatten a little more over time.

When I brought the item I did not read the information correctly and did not realise it would let liquid through. However, we brought this to go over the table for special occasions and we always use a white, gold or red plastic cloth under for these occasions so this is not an issue. We are very happy with the runner, the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is it is a little rough around the edges and does catch some materials. That said it is a very good runner and along with the tablemats it makes the table look special.

These are beautiful and essy to clean. Lovely colour and great price. Came well packaged and I reuse these many times. They look more expensive than they are. Makes my table look elegant. I bought the matching mats as well as was very pleased with these. Lots of lovely comments about my table decor.
