This is a very good magnifying mirror. The lighting is bright and even. The image is distortion free. I’ve seen similar products offered at over $100 that are only its equal. The suction will hold with a strong grip for up to six weeks to two months. It will eventually release. As long as you remember to reattach it to a smooth wall or similar surface about once a month, it will last. I attached it to a marble surface, forgot to check on it, and it dropped onto a ceramic tile floor, and broke. With the new replacement, I keep a towel on the floor beneath it for a soft landing. Just remember to reattach it monthly and you won’t even need to do that.

This is a very good mirror, though it is a lot smaller than I would've liked. That said, it gets the job done. The actual mirror is 5". To get an idead if that works for you or not, take a compass and draw a 5" circle on a piece of paper and decide if that's big enough for you. Also, keep in mind that you have to be real close for an undistorted image. It is a very clear, nice, sharp image and you will see things you didn't know before existed. If you are someone who travels, this is a perfect, travel size, magnification mirror. The suction cup is very strong and the lightweight mirror stays in place. The light is a great, bright, diffused light that really helps you see yourself. I also like how it lights up my whole bathroom if the light is off. This will really come in handy if the electricity goes out; and the button on the face is so easy to turn off and on. Overall, I'm very happy with it. If you want or need a little bit bigger mirror, go for it. But if a 5", magnified, travel mirror is what you're looking for, this is perfect.

Love it I may go larger

I bought a more expensive unit with 10x magnification that really wasn't. We broke the original of this model and finally just bought the same one again. We are finally happy again. I got a note on purchase that this gets returned a lot. I don't know why. It is a plastic model. It's bright. Works great.

I originally reviewed this product giving it 5 stars. Here we are July 1st. I bought this March 26th, and I can't even tell you how often I've had to buy batteries. I use the product for about thirty minutes in the morning, and sometimes thirty minutes in the evening. That's it. The battery life for that use is up in about two weeks. That annoyed me, but I just did what I had to do to have it working.Update: reached out to company and they sent me a new mirror. No questions back...hassle free return...so far so good. I'm happy. Also, they shipped super fast.Today, I go to turn the light on after putting brand new batteries in it, and I doesn't turn on. I check the batteries, I even switched them out for other new ones. I have a pack of about twenty new batteries. It was a no go. What good is the mirror without a light? Useless.I called amazon, and they said I'm outside of my return window. That's BS.Beware of buying this mirror as it has a very short use life.

It fell off the wall several times over the course of a year, but the last time it broke the mirror. I tried to replace it, but lo and behold, the next 10X mirror I got was nowhere near the magnification. I will be reordering this one for sure. I don't care if I have to take it down every day, it's a great mirror. Shows you every pore on your face.UPDATE: The replacement came and in no time at all the plastic rim surrounding the mirror kept popping away from the unit. I could not snap it back on because it would just pop out. It has been in the same location permanently and I have not been taking it on and off, so... Today it just popped off the base ball joint and fell to the floor. I WANT to replace it but am ambivalent about getting the same product. Would be the third replacement and nobody is offering one for free. ugh.
