This is a good economical tea. I have been searching for economical matchas, and I have usually been disappointed, with a lot of them. I am tired of paying these high prices for ceremonial grade that comes in a 3 oz. tin. I have finally found a couple of good replacement matchas that contain a way more in the package, then the tins, and at a great price! I have compared this JadeVale tea, to Life·Tea Green matcha; which also comes in a big package at a great price. I prefer the Life Green tea, because it has more flavor and more of a good aromatic smell. But this is a close second tea. These are not bright green teas, they are olive green color; but the flavor is very good. Now I have two different matchas that are my go to teas, that will last me quite a while, without breaking the bank. I have been drinking green tea for years, so I know a good product when I see it. JadeVale tea comes from Japan, while Life Tea comes from China. Don't let that scare you though, because it is a clean, aromatic, and very good tea.

So I took the plunge and bought some matcha to see what the hype is all about - well first off it's not like green tea it has a different taste to it - I wasn't aware of allThe stuff you can make with it - be sure to whisk it properly or you will find a big clump at the bottom all trial and error - it had no bitter Taste and I hear it's great for when you immune system is down and you are about to get a cold - I think once I get the sifting down and water tempIt will be my go to

After researching a lot for a healthy daily drink (to boost my metabolism and tone my stomach) to replace my coffee I decided to get Matcha powder as it seems that its EGCG has so many health benefit that I definitely want to benefit of. There are so many different ways that one can consume Matcha and a quick online search shows just how many different recipes are available. In my case I decided to mix the Matacha powder with some lemon juice, apple cider vinegar (With mother), cumin tea, and some sort of fruit juice that I have at home (this is where I change it every once in a while so I won't get tired of the taste). The powder itself is super fine and the taste of it by itself might be a bit bitter but when it is mixed with other liquids/juices then it's much better.

I got it just today, immediately I made a drink of Matcha in 1 cup of cold water with 1 tsp of it. I must say, it doesn't taste as horrible as many described, haha! In fact, I ordered it to mix with Multani mitti (fuller's earth) and make my own pack for face, feet and hands. I hope it works as expected! Only thing I was little disappointed was, it is not as green as it appears in pictures, should be OK for the price :)

It's the first time I buy matcha. It's not the bright green I was hoping for. It's more of a murky green, the type I was told to stay away from. But, It's smells just like green tea. It broke up very easily in cold water and it doesn't taste as bitter as I thought it would. It's pretty smooth. I'll drink it anyways cause it's better that drinking nothing at all. The color would be my only complaint.

I'm no matcha connoisseur, but the color to me seems to be a bit off - it's a much darker green, like evergreen. It tastes fine, but I guess you get what you pay for, quality wise. It doesn't look very pretty, but I'm hoping at least it contains most of the health benefits of matcha! I have no intention of buying this brand again.

Even tho it smells funny (grassy) there really isn't hardly a taste to it as the reviews I read before I bought stated that it was a grassy taste...no, it's a grassy smell 100%. This is only my 3rd day drinking this and I think it is helping me w/my energy issues.

This is my first time trying matcha. I don't have a strong base to compare it to anything else, but I think the taste is pretty decent. I wanted to get into green tea as I heard it's good for weight loss. There's not a huge amount, but it will suffice if you use it efficiently. I would buy more in the future, and even consider buying one of the matcha mixture spoon sets to play around with. Overall it's a solid product and I would recommend others trying it out as well.
