A step up from just the plain white plastic covers.

My kitchen was recently renovated, and I changed out all of the light switch and outlet covers. These switch plates really pop. They add just the right touch and were well priced. I searched for similar items at Home Depot before purchasing here, and the prices were much higher at Home Depot. These are well made and very heavy duty covers. The designs on the plate covers are really attractive, and they are easy to clean. I expect they will last for many years to come.

Upgrading switch plates from contractor grade plates to a higher quality wall plate is something that most don't think of. I've been doing a lot of DIYing in our condo and after a long and drawn out kitchen backsplash project I started replacing wall plates along the backsplash. I came across this line of Classic Architecture wall plates from Franklin Brass. This design is versatile with classic clean lines that compliment many types of decor. The wall plate is made out of a thick, durable and heavy material (in fact, you might be surprised by how heavy they are when you pick one up). In case you're wondering, they come with the screws you need to install them. I've ordered a number of these wall plates in the Classic Architecture line for my home for different types of switches and outlets so I can recommend them to anyone looking to take the look of their home up a notch.

Looks great and as expected. The screws match perfectly and the color is as expected. It’s a true white color and not as off white at all. Great option at a great price.

Nothing fancy, just the little design ridge on the inset allows this to be sturdier than the basic plates. Easy to install and wipe clean.

So, we remodeled a bathroom. All the fixtures are brushed nickel, so we bought similar wall plates. Well, one of the plates I bought was the wrong size. My fault, and ordered the correct one. But, then I had an extra. So, I put it in the washroom.Can’t explain the reasoning, but figured I’d replace all of the “water” rooms with the same design, but in White. STILL debating about the kitchen, but the other baths all have the same theme. If I do the kitchen too, I fear I won’t stop. LOL
