I like it!
About 2 hours to put together. Tested on a ½ mile steep gradient without first charging the battery, and once I selected the right amount of pedal assist (medium), I flew up the hill with very little effort. Assembly is okay if you're used to bikes, but instructions are quite lacking. It's a nice little touch that they've included assembly tools, although you will possibly need some extra allen keys as I did as not all sizes are provided. If, like me you've watched a variety of Youtube videos before buying this, a nice little upgrade is that the battery connection has changed, and water will no longer sit in the bottom of the battery holder when wet. Another criticism in a number of the (American) Youtube reviews is that the brakes were set up the British way, with the front brake on the right. Mine was actually set up the other (American) way and during assembly I had to change them over to the British way. The build quality is good and the bike feels a lot lighter than I was expecting. I tried the bike on just pedal power, with no assist, and it did feel quite heavy, but that could be because my other bike is so light. I'm hoping I'll never need to just use pedal power, but it's nice to know I can do so if need be. The gears worked fine straight off, with no adjustment needed. Brakes feel more than capable. Saddle comfortable enough. Overall, first impressions are P-O-S-I-T-I-V-E. I'm looking forward to getting that battery fully charged and getting out for a proper ride.

Decent performance for a price that's just right
I ordered the pro model with larger battery capacity. A big selling point for this bike is the price. Bikes with comparable specs can easily cost well over £1K.The 12.5Ah battery packs a punch. Pedal assist kicking in feels like a strong breeze pushing you forward. The 250W motor tackles hills with relative ease. The welding and paint work on this model look good. The bike feels sturdy and looks good. The front light and horn are integrated into the electric system and can be activated from the handlebars.Cons:The weight. At around 23 KGs, the battery alone is 3KGs. This doesn't impact the cycling experience for me, but getting the bike up a flight of stairs can be a bit difficult. It was shipped with a wobbling rear wheel. The wheel is not perfectly round and wobbles at higher speeds. I will need to take the bike to a mechanic to get those spokes adjusted. The bike also arrived with a badly aligned front disc brake. The disc was always touching against the brake pad and I had to spend some time re-aligning the callipers. The rear derailleur guard was bent in, preventing shifting to the highest gear. This had to be bent backwards by force.I found the original saddle that came with the bike to be uncomfortable and ended up ordering a different one.The front shock absorber sometimes suffers from syncing. No rear lights. Front lights provided so can't see why a set of rear lights couldn't be integrated into the electrical system. The instructions are written in very poor English

Comfortable, Robust and Good Quality
The bike arrived well packaged and was easily assembled. - The entire product carton was rather heavy, so you might need some help with initial unpacking and assembly. - You need to bear in mind that the package contains the bike, battery, charger, tools and a stand. - The bike, minus the battery, weighs approx. 18kg, but you can lose another kilo by removing the kick stand if weight is an issue. The bike is supplied configured for ‘Assisted’ use only. - However, also included is a 'Throttle' component, which you can choose to mount on the handlebar if you wish. - All the necessary parts required are provided in the box, although there are no instructions on how to fit this? - This is easily resolved if you look on YouTube, where you can find many supporting video's for this bike. - This feature allows the rider to use the motor without pedalling. - However, you need to be aware that the fitting of this feature converts the bike to an 'Electric Vehicle', which is not yet legal to use on UK roads. - You can still use 'Assisted Mode' which is fine. - I fitted the throttle feature to my bike and only use it 'Off Road'.Something that you might want to change over is the brakes? - These appear to be configured for the European market, with the front brake operated by the left lever? - In the UK, it should be the other way around. - These are easily swapped and adjusted. It goes without saying you should check all fasteners are secure, even those you haven't touched. - I found the headstock nut was loose on arrival. - Operation of the motor controls is easy. - The battery has a huge capacity and will last ages. - While we don't travel more than 10-15 miles at a time, the bike is more than able to support a couple of outings without charging, showing about 50% remaining afterwards. - The difference between the 'Low' and 'Middle' settings is noticeable, but you don't get much more from the 'High' setting. - I guess there's only so much power available in the 250W motor, despite the controller having a higher setting. - Having said that, we find the middle option more than enough to take the effort out of the steepest of hills in our locality, both on and off road.It was unfortunate that I fund the front lamp / horn assembly was damaged within the box on arrival, but this was eventually resolved to my satisfaction by the supplier. - All in all, a purchase I'm pleased with at a realistic price and a good value product that should last for ages.
