Panasonic Cordless Phone – “Old School Still Slaps”
Needed a landline for work calls. This little cordless champ is reliable, has clear audio, and looks slick. Caller ID and block function are clutch.✔ Tip: If you're setting it up for a senior, it’s very user-friendly. Buttons light up and are easy to read.

Great Little Basic Phone
This is a great little phone for basic use. I have the bigger one with the full base station and several handsets at the business office. I wanted something similar without the higher cost for my home office and this fit the bill. The phone line is being installed tomorrow so I may post and update after that.Pros1. It came with everything, including the batteries.2. The price was great, though it went up significantly (60%) since I purchased it. The new price seems rather high for what you get.3. It has various pleasant ring settings and volumes.4. It doesn't take up much space and is lightweight. It probably weighs less than a cell phone.5. It was easy to assemble and start working with.Cons1. There is no "do not disturb" button to turn it off when sleeping. You can turn the ringer volume off, but that takes quite a few buttons through menus to accomplish and then one would have to remember to turn it back on with as many buttons.2. The cords are rather short, so it needs to be right next to the jack and power supply. I didn't measure, but I'd guess 4 feet long. If your power supply and phone jack are not close to one another it would be a problem or require extension cords. Being most people put a phone on a table or desk, you lose 2 - 3 feet just from the location on the desk to the floor where the jack and power supply are, so if the jacks are not within a foot of the furniture it wouldn't work.3. You need both glasses and a 3x or more magnifying glass while squinting to read the instruction book. It's like an ingredient list on a product that would rather their ingredients not be known. Super tiny!I will update my review after the phone service is installed and I make/receive a few calls.UPDATE: Now that my phone service was installed, and I've been using it a couple of days I am happy to say the phone works well. The only negative is the quality of the sound on speaker is very poor and tinny sounding, which is stressful to listen to. It grates on me and makes having a meaningful conversation impossible. It's a shame this is not headset compatible. All phones s/b headset compatible, both for privacy and free the use of hands for using a computer during the call or taking notes.

Great extra phone - compact space saver!
I needed a compact phone for a second line. I didn't want an answering machine or a ton of bells and whistles. This phone doesn't take up a large footprint of space on my desk. It's quite compact. It has caller ID which I definitely wanted. I like that one of the ringtones I could chose is a very musical, whimsical style so that I can hear a very unique ring from elsewhere in the house and know which line is ringing since this phone doesn't ring often and is the only one connected to the second line. The sound quality isn't great but I didn't expect that for the price point. But, the sound isn't too bad either. I wish more phones still had the earbud or headset jack option - I do miss that. I'd buy this phone again as a good spare phone or as an added phone in various rooms to keep from running to grab a call. Without the headset jack or a bluetooth option, I wouldn't want it for my daily use phone that I'm on long calls with because I like to free up my hands for writing and typing while on the phone. So far that's my only negative but I knew the feature wasn't there when I bought it.

Phone useless, no battery in it
It came with no battery. It was removed . Box was mangled and taped all up, by the sender, not the post damage. It was cheaper to buy a new phone again then returning and having the problem of going to the post office which is far away. Not happy. Not honest posting and description.

Single Handset & Base
Compact cordless telephone model KX-TGB810.I've had this for about 2 weeks now and it's a basic good phone at a reasonable price. In my opinion I give it 3 stars. The batteries once fully charged will last me about 4 days, with moderate use. I like that it uses easily replaceable (2) AAA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries instead of those other battery packs, you know >>> where you need to get the correct connector.Display will show "Low battery" also beep twice every 2 minutes at a low volume when it's time to recharge. There's a lot of settings to choose and navigating the menus is a bit of a learning curve but, once you get used to it it's okay.Earpiece volume is 1 to 5, mine is set to 4 which is sufficient though I mostly use the speakerphone option.I tested out the Call Blocking feature and it works, when a blocked call is received the phone doesn't ring and the display shows Blocked caller and hangs up on them but, I noticed that my other 3 house phones will ring once before this blocking occurs.OK what else.. some cons / my quirks. The charging base is very light weight and easily shifts around. The base of Handset is too narrow to support itself in an upright position, it easily topples over with the slightest movement _a church mouse fart would knock it over_.The display screen cover is too glossy / mirror like / reflective, hard to see display text unless you have the backlight lite.I find that on the highest ringer volume it's not loud enough for me.The phone is a bit slow ~ I tested ~ On an incoming call my two landline phones and my other cordless phone will ring two times before THIS cordless phone will ring, also if the caller hangs up before you answer it THIS phone will continue to ring three more times.Takes five button pushes to delete a caller ID.Handset name: you can name the handset but, it won't show on the display screen unless you have a missed call or if low battery is being displaying, without them it's only the time and date being displayed. That's dumb. Can't figure out why this number 1 is being displayed on the phone. I emailed Panasonic support about it and included a photo too then received a auto reply saying they will contact me in 2 days, it's been over a week and no return reply.
