Works as described
The old 1 was a bit of a pain to get out. But the new 1 just slid into place a few bolts and away we go. Works exactly as it ahould.

Lasted 9 days! Absolute garbage and now have to do this job again.
So disappointed! This alternator lasted 9 days. On day 8, yesterday, the service charging system message came back! It worked fine everyday before this. Last night after sitting for hours the message went away. Decided to drive and test today to see if it was a fluke. Nope! Now it's severely undercharging under 11 volts! Yesterday it was pushing out over 17 volts! This job killed me, and now I've got to do it again!

2012 Traverse alternator

Definately a good product at a good price, and you won't want to have to install more than once on a traverse. Labor guides say about an hour to install, but it is a hard hour. Clearance is tight and the alternators are heavy. GM engineers should be flogged over this design

Lucas Alternator
We purchased a Lucas alternator for our 2013 Buick Enclave via Amazon . 1 year and 13 days and it is going out. Barely pulling 11amps. I've tried to contact them through their web site but when I hit send keeps saying unable to send or locate (computer mumbo jumbo) so it looks like I will have to but another one, probably not from them.
