Presto 06858 16-Inch Slimline Electric Skillet with Glass Cover - Nonstick, Adjustable Temperature, Black

I have only used the fry pan a few times since receiving it this month but I have been pleased so far. I have used it to cook crab cakes for a crowd and am happy with the ease of use and clean up. It does a great job and seems to have accurate temperature control. Like all electric fry pans, it does have some areas of the surface that run hotter or cooler than others because of the placement of the heat coils but that has been true of any I have owned over many years. You just have to be aware and rotate the items you are cooking. Very easy to clean up. Now I'm eager to do some real deep frying in the pan and expect that it will do a great job. The surface is very ample.

Slimline design helps with storage. Only used once so far, worked great with easy access for pancakes.

Heats up good . Only one down side: when it’s heating up or cooling down it has a metal popping sounds as the metal expands and retracts. I believe it is the way the bottom stand is mounted to the metal pan .

Very modern. It doesn't have the typical handles like the old ones that come loose and have to be tightened every use. Very nice even cook

Had one before and wore it out. Love the lower stance on it. Easy to use and clean.

But very large! This is my fault for not realizing how large it was! It is for big families or occasions where a big serving is needed! I live all alone so it is an overkill for me! The skillet is very nice and I have no complaints! I recommend it for people that want or need a large quantity of servings! Cleaning it is very easy!

While the pan is large, it is easy to wipe clean after using. The temperature is nice and even.

Works great, much more even heat than our old black and decker. Very happy. It’s big so great for cooking but a little awkward to fit in the sink for cleaning.

I am very pleased with this appliance so far. It was purchased to replace a much older 11" square electric skillet in which the Teflon finish was no longer non-stick.This skillet is 12"x16" which makes it easier to manipulate the items being prepared. It is a joy to work with as there is plenty of room and no crowding of food items. The lid fits well but needs a little extra care because it is glass. The body of the skillet is quite heavy duty and, despite its size, is not that difficult to wash. It has nice snug handles and, surprisingly, rubber feet for non-skid use. It would work well as a buffet server, too. Well designed.

This is a very nice electric frying pan. It's nice and big and deeper than a normal pan. It's totally non stick and cleans up great. It is worth every dollar.
