Do not regret the purchase, but many expectations were not met (UPD: returned)
I would note that I share my own personal experience with the setup with Bose700 overall and not the mic in isolation. It is a good solution if you already own a Bose headset. If it was closer to £150-200 for the mic - I would definitely recommend it as your passenger headset. With the current price I'd give it a thought... In my case I bought both the Bose 700 and the mic with the intention to use for flying and may be occasional domestic use, so was a bit disappointed. All in all, would not recommend as your primary pilot solution. Here are my experiences:1) Had my volume maxed out, but all still sounded just about loud enough, whereas it was too loud for the other person with David clarks. May be that's nothing to do with the product and the fault of Bose700, but for me the experience is about the overall result.2) I can normally hear that I am talking with a proper aviation headset, but here it was just echoing too much sometimes.3) Adaptor for the mic is made of metal and can scratch the ear cup. I added a silicone tube as padding, but would be nicer if manufacturer did it.4) The adaptor tube thingy is a bit too long to comfortably close the headset in the case.5) The website said it could be used in call centres, but the mic just wont work with the headset and a Mac. Could not test it with a PC though.6) The clips for fixing the cable are hard to use and you can't twist them in all directions.UPD: had to return as on my second flight attempt with the mic and Bose 700 it only worked with the noise cancelling function off. Both intercom and radio was maxed out, but I could hear something only without noise cancelling, which ruins the whole concept.
