Looove these little stairs! They're really good value, they're half the cost of other comparable (and overpriced imo) products and you get two! They can be oriented left or right, so you don't have to figure out your layout prior to purchase which worked great for me because I'm very indecisive.I also like that there's only 3 steps instead of 4, the 4-step ones look a little busy and seem like overkill. With the 3-step spacing my gal can actually walk across these as intended. She also likes to sit with her butt on one step and front legs on the next, but she's easily able to perch on a single step comfortably too.There's a layer of thin fabric-like material for grip which works great, but one could easily wrap these in sisal rope should that be the look you're going for.We luckily had studs behind where we wanted these little stairs to go, but if you only have drywall and feel unsure I'd recommend toggle bolt anchors, 1/2" holes which can easily be spackled over if you rent like we do. We used those for other parts of our cat wall and they're sturdy af.Definitely recommend!

Unless you think you will want to take them off the wall and use them somewhere else, be sure to tighten well, then GLUE in place the screws that hold the steps, otherwise they have a way of getting loose and the screw is inaccessible.

I've never had to install this type of product before but it was pretty easy you just got to know what you're doing my cat's absolutely loved it at first they were scared because I build a cat area for them so they were not used to going up and down the stairs but I had to literally grab them and show them how to climb up and down and now they never leave outside they they love it so much and sometimes what they do is they even play on the stairs so I absolutely recommend this product very very well it's it's better if you buy it on Amazon then if you go anywhere else because anywhere else you have to cut design every inch as he stairs so these are actually very convenient for the person who doesn't have time to build and wants to do something quick that works this is for you..

Withing a couple of months it started falling apart. The steps aren't sturdy enough.

Good product. Sturdy. My cat just doesn’t like wall shelves. Would recommend to an owner that has a cat that enjoys wall shelves.

The steps on these can't hold the weight of my cats. I had to take them down after I tested the steps out. I held the step to make sure it didn't completely snap off because I know that when the step breaks off there are going to be 2 inches of sharp screws sticking out to drag up their sides and make a surprise trip to a late-night vet for stitches. No thank you! Let's prevent that from happening before it happens.

I definitely recommend getting this product over the other ridiculously over priced one

this was very solid & easy to put together. the problem is if you follow instructions & install at 45 degrees, then it cant reach 16 inches on center with a stud. granted, i was installing in a not normal location but still. best improvement is to make it at least 16 inches when angled at 45 degrees.
