Works great and a more economial size
We have well water that tastes great, but has a lot of lime/calcuim. CLR works great to dissolve calcium build up from plumbing fixtures and rust or calcium build up in the toilet bowl. For toilets, we just dump a cup or two into the bowl, pouring it along the rim to soak as much as possible. It fizzes and breaks up any rust or calcium. If we've gone a while between treatments, we'll leave it in overnight and go in a couple times with a toilet brush to agitate it and re-wet the rim and bowl. A light brushing removes any remaining deposits with ease. For shower heads, it's best if you remove them and soak them in a plastic or glass bowl. We place the head face down in the bowl and pour the CLR into the pipe fittingvto thoroughly soak the inside and clean any screens or diffusers. Fill the bowl enough to ensure saturation of the jets. Usually 15 minutes will do it, you can lift it and watch how the liquid flows out to confirm it's clean. You should see nice, even individual streams as the head drains when you lift it. If it dribbles or some jets are still clogged, just soak longer. We have oil rubbed bronze fixtures and the solution has not affected the finish at all.If you can't or want to remove the shower head, you can put some in a zip loc bag and tie it over the head in place. This works best for routine maintenance where it's not super clogged. You can do the same on sink faucets, etc. to keep the aerator clean and water flowing smoothly. Be sure to open any windows/doors and use fans to ventilate, this can harm your eyes and lungs. Rinse the whole shower well after this kind of treatment as it can break down grout over time. If possible, removing the shower head and soaking it outside is really the safest and right way to do it*NOTE: Be very careful when turning on the fixtures after treatment, especially if you used the ziplock bag method. This is an acidic solution that can burn your eyes and lungs and any remaining product inside the fixture will be sprayed out on first use. I have a rainshower head that always surprises me how much liquid can be inside it when turned off, and more comes out depending upon the angle you hold it at, this means you might have baffles that can hold CLR and disperse it when you turn the water on, even if you think it's empty. I've gotten some on my skin and washed it off promptly with no issues, but it could burn those with fair or soft skin if left on for any amount of time. I would imagine it would injure your eyes instantly. Be sure to rinse the fixture well before use and wash any residue off of sinks, tile or grout to prevent damage or staining. This is a great product but you have to be careful; wear gloves, eye protection and do not let fumes build up or inhale them. Keep kids and pets out of the treatment area to avoid any accidents.

Best cleaner you can get.
It works well if you make sure to apply on a consistent basis or else some stains will not come out. I had to use a stronger brush to remove thoughs.Overall, as cleaner for a once a month application, it's perfect if not the best out there. Depending on how dirty the toilet gets will determine if you need to use this more frequently. Key is to not leave stains for prolonged periods, at that point no cleaner will get that out without using a stronger scrubber.

Great Product! Great Value!
I've been using CLR for years because it's a product that does its job and is not harmful to me or my pets. When I found it online in the size I need and a great price, I don't shop for CLR any other place. I highly recommend.

Enough on hand
Tired of the little bottles. Works best with very hot water to speed up the process.

The GOAT for lime removal.
We live on a well, and mineral buildup is a fact of life. CLR is our go-to for cleaning our coffee maker, kitchen water nozzle, dog water bowls, and anything else that gets mineral buildup. If you have any crust or buildup on your appliances or water fixtures, CLR will power through it. We use it diluted for electrical appliances like the coffee maker. With non-sensitive items that are heavily crusted we go full strength. I have never had anything damaged from using CLR. Although CLR will work on certain rust scenarios, in my experience if your main issue is rust, there are better products for that specific task, such as iron out.
