Used For Jeep Commander 2008:For the price, Great Rear Glass Window Lift Support Struts
The media could not be loaded. We have needed to replace the Rear Glass Window Lift Support Struts. We took pictures of the original lift support struts, did a search on Amazon for the brand and manufacturer # and this set from Boxi came up. Said it was good for Jeep Commanders yrs 2006 - 2010. You can see in the images how they arrived in their packaging. We included two pictures of how far the rear glass window opened with the old, original rear glass window struts. We also included a video of how the rear glass window functions now, after we installed the new lift support struts from Boxi.Overall: we are happy with the way our window is back to opening fully and quickly. The price was also something that made it simple to purchase. The installation is super easy, we went onto YouTube University, found a video of someone making this replacement in order to see how the old lift support struts would come off and then popped the new ones on following the included instructions. Fairly simple and quick process to complete!

Very Strong
Opens the window very quickly. Now I need to remember to not stand too close when opening the back window. Nice not having the window falling down onto the back of my head while loading and unloading!

Just like new
It was simple to remove old ones and just as easy to install new struts.

10 minute install
That 10 minute time estimate includes walking out back to my garage, getting a small flathead screwdriver, then walking out front to the jeep, then putting these rear window lifts on.Important to note- if you are used to a slow moving, saggy window that only opens half way, this isnt that. Wear a mouthguard because these things open with the power of a thousand suns

Back window works like it was new!
The Commanders back window wouldn't stay up like it was suppose to when open. Did a search and found these. removed the old ones and put this one.. it even hooks shut tighter now! Very pleased with these. Holds the glass wide open when we push the fob to open the glass. Easy to install.

Heads Up!
Step back when you push the button to open the rear class window after installing these struts. Serious energy release!
