My oval JBL Marine speakers finally started crackling after 17 years of use, so it was time to replace them. I searched high and low and settled on these speakers. Aside from the fact that they fit almost perfectly in the existing holes (I say "almost" because they are a tad smaller than the JBL speakers), the sound was fantastic; I was able to crank the volume with no distortion and solid bass/treble. The price was definitely competitive too; not the lowest, but certainly not the highest. I would definitely recommend these for any boat.

Fits good in Apache 2800 box for diy boombox. Have around 100 watts of power going to it. Performs great and has held up to some abuse with no distortion.

Great speakers for an old truck. Have them bridged with a 400 watt amp, so 200 watts RMS per speaker. Great value and clear sound

Bought these for my new fairing for the bike. They sound awesome at highway speed even. Very little distortion at higher levels and they look tough.

great speakers, had them in my truck and liked them so much i built a speaker box using them. they lack some bass that some other speakers have but they are very loud and clear and i would recommend them to someone looking to upgrade.

Installed 4 of these in our 1994 Ski Sanger. With a 12” sub, it sounds terrific! The 6x9’s are powered by a Rockford Fosgate amp, giving each speaker 150W and really give great highs and mids even open air in the boat. Don’t expect too much bass, at least in a boat. But couple them with a nice sub and enjoy!
