As others stated, there is definitely a smell to these curtains. I don't know that it is gasoline, but maybe because of the dye. I washed once and it still smells. I hope that the smell will dissipate with time and washings. They are definitely not soft like other reviews stated. They are somewhat see-through, but the description doesn't say they are blackout curtains so I'm actually happy with the sheerness of them because it's exactly what I was expecting per the description. Do be careful if washing with something else because I wasn't thinking and washed them with a yellow work shirt. The shirt is now green (and it smells like the curtains). Overall, I am happy as I received pretty much what was expected based off of the description and other reviews.

So stoked on these curtains! I’ve read negative reviews from other hand dyed mandala curtains, that they smell weird, and then length was not to true to description, but these are really great. The yellow/ gold color is a bit darker, almost a dark gold, and there are some frayed strings. I just clipped the strings, and the stitching wasn’t coming undone or compromised. They didn’t smell weird and they held up just fine to medium heat when I ironed the folds out from the shipping. I really love them.

Very disappointed. The moment we opened these curtains there was an awful gasoline like smell so I tried washing them. I've washed them 3x now and it's still horrible. I will never buy from this company again. It's like we threw our money away and wasted water trying to get the smell out. 👎👎👎👎👎

The curtains look beautiful, but the chemical smell is overwhelming. I got an instant headache and it made my lungs feel heavy. I washed them twice, soaked them in vinegar, added essential oil and hung them outside despite the cold temperatures - to air them out but also because I can’t have them in my house. My whole house smells like this toxic chemical smell including my washing machine. The odor is horrible, be aware! There is a reason why these curtains are so inexpensive.

These curtains are beautiful. Rich, deep colors. I sewed a pocket along the edges of one panel and hung it as a wall hanging. Huge impact in my guest room for a small investment.

Updated: after putting these in the spare room for about a month, the smell is now tolerable, I can now enjoy these pretty drapes…. These are very pretty, but the chemical smell is really bad. I washed them twice, left them outside for days and recently tried to hang them up in my bedroom. I can tolerate just about anything; my husband is another story. But even I couldn’t handle the smell, so I have to put them away until the smell dissipates. I hope it does eventually. I am concerned for the people who work in this factory; I can’t imagine what health problems they might develop from working around the chemicals used to make these drapes.

Pros: Colors were true to picture. Patter is crisp and fabric is pretty strudy.Cons: The pattern doesn't line up on one set (I ordered two to cover multiple windows) It's less noticeable when the curtains are open but when completely closed the pattern is off by about an inch.

I got 6 pairs in a variety of colors for my outdoor gazebo. The mandalas match and they look great. Air them out if you are putting them up inside, as they have a potent smell.I washed and dried them and they retained their colors

They were a little narrow for what I wanted to use it for. But I think it can be fixed. Otherwise beautiful design! I love it!

Very happy with these beautiful mandala curtains. Love how colourful they are. I added a sheer in the middle to let in some some light to living room.

Looked great in the addition to a trailer which my son owns.
