My plants love this and I do too!
My plants absolutely love this stuff and it is so easy for me to use. I admit I am pretty forgetful and lazy when it comes to fertilizing, so the Thrive line of liquid fertilizers are right up my alley. I have several low tech, heavily planted tanks and I definitely noticed a difference in my overall plant health within a week of using this stuff. This is like plant crack ;P I have new growth everywhere and my floating plants are going bananas, which is good news for my trio of goldfish. The 3 little piggies love to nom on the trimmings. For those with invertebrates: My amanos, nerites, and bamboo shrimp do just fine dosing this, the original version of Thrive. I do my 25-30% water changes about every other week. I do dose more than the amount recommended for low tech setups, but I also spread the dosage out over 4 days instead of dosing all at once. My tanks are heavily planted riparium style with both emergent and submerged growth, quick growing vals, swords, crypts, and out of control floaters. They are understocked critter wise and I have a hard time keeping even my nitrates above zero. Your mileage may vary, of course. If your tank is lightly planted with mostly slow growers like anubias, mosses, and java fern, my schedule is not going to work for you. Everybody’s tanks are different, so you need to use your best judgement and figure out what works best in your tank. I can only share what works for me in my situation. :) In my opinion though, as long as you have an etablished, adequate sized, and healthy growing plant mass, and keep up on your water changes, I don’t forsee a problem with the low dose of copper in this fertilizer harming invertebrates.NilocG Aquatics also makes a shrimp specific fertilizer, Thrive S, for those that are still worried. I have used that one in the past for the greater part of a year and it works pretty darned well. I would think it might work especially well for overstocked tanks where one might have a problem with nitrates building up (it adds a lower level of N with each dose).

Works well for my planted tank
I have many different types of plants in my aquarium. This fertilizer is an all in one and works well. I have been using this product line for a couple of years and I love their ferts. If you want an easy fertilizer that you can dose weekly, this is the one.

Best product
Great product my fish tank is already cycled and having to much plants inside a fish tank will cause them to consume to much nitrate, which is a good thing. I had 5ppm of nitrate but after a week later my plants consumed all the nitrate leaving me with 0ppm of nitrate. This led to my plants to Wilt with lack of nitrate and nutrient but using this product my plants look more alive then ever. CAUTION when using this product makes sure to use half the dose. This will increase your nitrate a lot so make sure to test for nitrate each day for a week and if you have plants even better (they will consume the nitrate little by little)

easy to use and seems to be working great!
I have used this in my planted tank about 2 weeks everything that wasn't doing too well is finally growing back nicely, and convenience of not having to measure is a plus! was using 3+ bottles of different plant foods until I heard about this product from a planted tank forum and am glad I did! just 1 bottle costs less then it would for me to buy all the types of plant food in this one. below picture few of the plants that were dying now growing nice new green leafs!

Works well, convenient
With a 60 gallon planted tank with gravel substrate I dose only once a week with this, 8 pumps added to the water change. This has been working well for the last few years. The only other thing I add is water conditioner to get rid of the chloramine.

Very, very pleased
I was feeling defeated with my planted tank. Nothing was growing, and some things were even dying. I was using Seachem products and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Someone on Facebook recommended this line and wow, in the month Ive been using it I've seen crazy growth! I was even getting ready to throw out my Madagascar Lace due to no growth and it looking dead, I've had 4 new leafs sprout up since starting this brand! My Java Ferns? Growing like crazy! I go to bed and when i turn on my aquarium lights in the morning I can see new leafs popping up on almost all my plants! It's amazing.I don't use the full dose. I have a 75gallon and use 5 pumps 2x weekly(once after water change, once a few days later). This will bump your nitrates up quite a bit. I was running at 10ppm pre thrive, now I run about 40ppm. Fish don't seem to mind though. I have to stay on top of my water changes a lot more after starting this, but it's worth it.

Thrive is a one bottle aquatic firtilizer
I’ve used so many different fertilizers trying to get the right combination for my aquatic plants that column feed. The value of the liquid is excellent. I even use it on my house plants. It’s easy to use, excellently blended and I use less than other fertilizers which makes it a great value for the price. I cannot say the same for the tablets. I recommend this fertilizer for anyone that has water column feeding plants in their aquariums. Especially to get away from inaccurate dosing of multiple elements that are way too expensive in the long run of other brands and don’t work well.
