FINALLY I have found a precision sports watch that is VERY easy to see and read. It has a simple learning curve if you just look at the quick start guide. Amazon had it to my front door two days after I bought it for just $3.00! It's BIG but it doesn't feel big or heavy. I have small Girly wrists so I always have to have bracelets or straps flipped around 180 degrees so that the buckle is on the OUTSIDE of my wrist and the rest of the rubber watch band points INSIDE towards my body when looking at the face of the watch. If I don't do this it will ride on the SIDE of my wrist and I will go crazy all day from pulling it back to the middle. I had to take it to a really good Rolex watchmaker to have it done as it is not just simple pins like a cheap Timex watch. It's built in Finland with very high quality and extremely tight tolerances. It's rugged, beautiful, and piques peoples interest when they notice it. It's kind of pricy at $500.00 but well worth the money if you want to go FIRST CLASS and have one of the BEST on the market. Overall I Love it!

I ordered thiswatch twice, but had to return it twice
I ordered this watch twice, but had to return it twice. First Return: Because of reviews I read regarding the poor legibility of the gray-on-black digits, I ordered the "positive black" version but received the exact gray-on-black version that I did not want. So I returned it (I was credited the $$$ immediately!). (NOTE: the watch activated and I can confirm the gray-on-black would have been hard for me to read in direct sunlight.)SO I re-ordered the "positive black". But sadly, the watch that arrived two days later (!!!) was dead on arrival. It did not activate. Maybe the battery is dead? Maybe there's no battery? I've returned it. I'm sad, because a friend highly recommends the watch, it looks great, it's sturdy, handsome, the Amazon price is right, etc. And most of all, I NEED IT! But I can't go through another bad ordering process.Amazon is normally 5-star service, but not this time. I'm not taking any more of my time ordering again through this particular supplier.

Tough outdoor watch with a modern look.
I don't climb mountains or walk around outdoors (hiking?) much, but I bought this because it's a well built digital watch that I can wear all the time. I'm a service member, so I just needed a durable digital watch with a clean interface, which this has. Works well for me.
